My Dark Alpha

Kira!

I am convinced I have fumes coming off of me as I walk back to the house. When I come through the back door Helena is there waiting for me with a half smile.

“My brother linked me and told me to prepare a guest room for you and I have been instructed not to ask any questions.” She says in a way that is saying ‘please tell me everything.’

“Thank you, Helena I appreciate that. If you wouldn’t mind showing me where my room is I need to make a call.” I give her a small smile.

“Of course, follow me.” She motions for me to come with her.

We go up to the second floor, she leads me to a small room on the right wing of the house. It’s cute and reminds me of my room at home. The bed is small with a white comforter set and a little side table. There is a small bookshelf with books about the history and mythology of werewolf’s. It’s cozy and for a second I don’t feel too far from home.

“It’s perfect Helena, thank you.” I smile at her.

She gives me a nod and leaves. I pull my phone out to call Kira and she picks up on the second ring.

“Rory! How is it going? I’ve been waiting for you to call!” She practically yells at me

“Ohh.. do I have some s**t to tell you” I say. I tell her about how the place is actually beautiful and runs very sufficiently and not a dirty rotten place like we thought it would be. I tell her about Annabelle, about the sweet picnic, and then about the rules.

“Who the f**k does he think he gives?! Giving you a curfew like a child! Threatening to whip you if you don’t comply? That f****r.” She’s p****d

“Yeah I know right and letting me sleep in the same bed he was just f*****g another girl in! I’ve only been here one day Kira, one day! I will never make it 6 months.” I sigh into the phone

“I’m coming there. Tomorrow I’m coming. I don’t care what Mr. You will follow my rules has to say I will be there tomorrow afternoon.” She says firmly

“Oh Goddess Kira I would love that, I need a friend here. His family seems nice enough, well except his father but I don’t know them and I can’t talk s**t about him to them.” I tell her

“It’s settled then. I’ll be there tomorrow afternoon, I can’t wait to see you! I will call you before I leave in the morning.” She sounds excited

“Ok I can’t wait!” I exclaim

We say our goodbyes and hang up the phone. As soon as I do I hear a knock at the door. When I open it Beta Clark is standing there with a tray of food.

“Alpha Damon said you would probably want to eat in here tonight.” He says

“Alpha Damon would be correct Clark, thank you. You can set it on the side table.” I smile at him

Clark goes to leave but turns back towards me.

“He’s not a bad guy Princess. He’s just had a rough go at things. Be patient with him please, he needs you.” He looks sad

“I am trying Clark, would you please tell Alpha Damon to expect my best friend Kira’s arrival tomorrow afternoon. I would like her to come stay for a bit.”

“Of course, Princess.. Kira, that’s a pretty name.” He’s looks curious

“Wait until you see the face.” I say and raise my eyebrows

He laughs and leaves the room. I eat my dinner while I watch the dating show I’ve come to like. I find myself wondering about Damon, Clark said he’s had a rough go at things. I wonder what he meant by that.

“You should go see him.” Rain says to me

“I can’t rain, not after the way he talked to me. I will not be treated like a child.” I tell her

“I just want the two of you to remember that your actions affect Ares and me as well. If you two can’t work things out you don’t only lose your mate but I lose mine.” She is not happy with me.

Oh, f**k it. I get up and start walking to Damon’s room. When I get there I just stand at his door for a minute contemplating going back. But I’ve already come this far so I knock. He opens the door with only a pair of grey sweat pants on. He may be an a**hole but he’s hot.

“Uhh.. hey, so I just wanted to make sure Clark told you about Kira coming tomorrow.” I try not stare at him

“Yes he told me, I’ve asked Helena to prepare her a room.” He says

“Ok, well that’s all I wanted. Thanks.” I turn to leave but he grabs my arm and pulls me back to him.

“Arora, I’m sorry for how I spoke to you. This is new to me and I am trying to figure it out. I want to change, but I need you to be patient with me. I want to be better for you, Princess.” He rubs my face

“You are so hot and cold Damon, it’s really confusing and it’s only been a day.” I sigh. “I came up here because Rain is really upset with me and she made a really good point to me. She said what we do affects her and Ares too.” I tell him

“Ares wasn’t happy with me either. He made me realize some things too. I want to make changes Arora, just please give me time to do it.” He pleads

“I will, I am going to try to contain my attitude. I know I have a short temper.” I tell him

He snakes his arm around my lower back and pulls me to him.

“Stay with me tonight please, Ares and I will be restless without you.” He says

Having him this close makes it impossible to think. His scent consumes me. All I do is nod and he wastes no time pulling me in the room with him but he doesn’t let go.

“So, when you said you’d never done anything with anyone, does that mean you’ve never kissed anyone?” He asks curiously

“No I haven’t.” I say

“So that means I’ll be your first kiss?” He sounds excited

“Who says I’ll be kissing you?” I ask and c**k an eyebrow

“Me.” He says

He leans down and captures my lips in his. I feel sparks explode and my body starts tingling. I wrap my arms around his neck and pull myself up to deepen the kiss. I moan into his mouth and he pulls away.

“Did I do something wrong?” I ask confused

“No, Princess but with you making sounds like that I am going to have a hard time controlling myself.” He tells me.

He walks over and pulls me into a hug, his scent takes over and I feel calm.

“Come on let’s get to bed, you have an excited day tomorrow.” He smiles and kissing me on the top of my head.

We crawl in to bed and he pulls me into him. I feel my eyelids get heavy and in no time I’m drifting off to sleep.
