Bryson hated that Shelby ran into that f*u*c*k*b*o*y. He was afraid that her seeing her ex would send her back into that shy state that he and Drew had been working to get her out of. He sure as hell wasn't about to let Drew run off to handle Michael without him. He hated Michael for breaking Shelby and turning her into the shy shell of a woman that she was now. Bryson wanted to break Michael's neck but knew he couldn't kill him for something that happened when he was still in his teens. He was perfectly happy with kicking his ass instead. Bryson asked Drew if he could order then dinner and Drew said that was fine. He ordered wings in hopes that Shelby would smell them and come out of her room. Drew and Bryson sat down on the couch and waited for the food to arrive. Thirty minutes later there was a knock at the door. Drew opened it to find a woman with red hair standing there. "Hi, Handsome. Order for Bryson Callum." "Hey Bryson, foods here man." Bryson walked to the door opening his wallet to pull out a tip for the driver when he looked up he felt his blood begining to boil. "Seraphina, what in the f*u*c*k are you doing here?" "I missed you and since I was at the wing shop when I heard them call out your name I figured I would stop by, I wasn't expecting the driver to pull out going the opposite way but I followed him." "Where is the driver now, Seraphina?" "I tipped him and told him I was joining you for dinner and I would be happy to bring it in." "Leave now and do not come back here, Seraphina." "But Bry, I just want to talk. Why can't you give me that? I told you I was sorry for sleeping with those guys." "I don't f*u*c*k*i*n*g care, Seraphina. I told you I was done with you and told you to leave me the f*u*c*k alone." "Um. Wol.. Bryson, What is going on here man?" "Nothing, Drew. Just some trash that needs to leave." "Bry, you know deep down you still want me. Stop fighting it and give into your feelings. I miss you." "For the love of the goddess, If you don't f*u*c*k*i*n*g leave right now Seraphina, I swear I am going to make sure you never bother me again. I told you to leave, now go and do not ever come back here or to my house you I make myself clear?" "Fine. I'll go but I am not going to give up on us, Bry." "There is no us anymore. Leave me the f**k alone, Seraphina." Bryson slammed the door in Seraphina's face. When he turned around Drew was staring at him with his brow raised. "What, Drew?" "Who was that, Wolf? "A crazy ex who doesn't understand what I'm done means." The guys went into the living room to find a very pissed off Shelby standing there. "Who in the f*u*c*k was that red headed woman I saw walking away from the house through my window?" "She is no one, pretty lady." "I want to know who she is! Drew?" "I don't know her Shelbs. I answered the door because Bryson ordered food. I swear thats all." "Bryson?" "Calm down, pretty lady. She isn't going to be coming back." "WHO THE F*U*CK IS SHE, Bryson?" "She is my ex. She was the last woman I was with 4 years ago. I'm sorry she showed up here." "I've seen her before. When I was staying at the hotel. I drove to a different coffee shop and she was sitting there staring at me. She even left when I did." "Are you sure it was her, pretty lady?" "Yes Bryson. I am positive it was her. I am not blind and I saw her get into a white mercedes which i'm positive was the same exact car that was parked out in front of my house minutes ago." "F*u*c*k. I'm sorry, pretty lady. I didn't think she would follow you." "What do you mean you didn't think she'd follow me, Bryson?" "I ran into her at a bar I go to and she asked about you. I guess she saw us together." "We never went out while I was staying there. You came to me. How could she have seen us together?" "Unless she followed me to your hotel and then waited until you left, I don't know how else she would have known, pretty lady." "So now not only do I have to worry about running into that f*u*c*k*i*n*g d*o*u*c*h*e*b*a*g Michael, now I have to worry about a crazy ex of yours following me? Great! This is just f*u*c*k*i*n*g great." "Calm down, pretty lady. I will make sure she doesn't bother you." "Yeah, Shelbs. Between Bryson and I, we will make sure you don't have either of them to worry about." "No, Drew. I am a grown woman and I can handle this myself. I don't need the two of you hovering over me every minute of the day making sure no one bothers me. I took care of Michael myself and now I'll take care of this crazy b*i*t*c*h. I'm going to go back to my room now. Good night." "Wait, pretty lady. I got us wings for dinner. I got you some too. Will you please at least sit and eat with us?" "Fine, Bryson. I'll sit and eat but neither of you are to ask me about earlier. I swear if I hear one thing hinting to wanting to know, I will go back to my room and I'll take my wings with me." "Ok, pretty lady." "Yes ma'am bestie." All three of them sat in the living room and ate. It was quiet and awkward. Shelby could see that what happened with her earlier was eating at both Bryson and Drew. She knew it was a matter of time before Drew ended up hounding her into telling him what happened. "Bryson, Drew, I know I can't avoid it because Drew will end up hounding me until I tell him but, what happened earlier was, I bumped into him at the park and he tried to sweet talk me. I tried to walk away and he grabbed my arm. I told him off and yanked away from him. That was it. I made sure he wasn't following me and yes, I know it was years ago but seeing him again and hearing him bring up that part of my past hurt. That is why I was upset when I came home." "Oh, Shelbs. I am so sorry you had to face him." "It's ok Drewy. It was bound to happen one day." "Pretty lady, I don't know the prick but after what you told me about him, I am sorry you had to go through that and I am truly sorry about my ex coming here." "It's not your fault, Bryson. If she is crazy it's on her not you." "Still she is my ex and I feel guilty about her following you and coming here like that. I will also be speaking with the wings shop manager about them calling my name out like that now that I know She eats there. I may just find another wing place to order from." "No. Bryson. Don't find another wing place. I like these wings. Just talk to the manager and let me deal with her following me. If I end up face to face with her again, I will handle it. Now let's finish eating. Thank you for ordering dinner for us, Bryson." "You're welcome, pretty lady." Shelby, Bryson, and Drew finished eating and Shelby walked Bryson out to his car. Bryson pulled Shelby in for a hug and she didn't resist. "Bryson?" "Yes, pretty lady." "Thank you." "For what, pretty lady?" "Well for dinner and for staying to make sure I was ok. Thank you for keeping me from doing something at the hotel and thank you for the experiences we've shared and not telling Drew what all we did." "You don't have to thank me, Shelby, but you're welcome. Thank you for allowing me to experience those things with you. It wasn't my place to tell Drew what we did in that hotel room. I told you I was like a journal. I won't spill any information unless you give me permission to." Shelby licked her bottom lip and bit it. She looked up at Bryson and went for it. She pulled him down to her level and she kissed him. It wasn't a quick peck on the lips either. Shelby kissed him with passion and it made Bryson melt into her kiss. He had never had a pssionate kiss like that but he liked it. He kissed her back matching her passion and when they pulled apart, Shelby was blushing. "Thank you for being here for me, Bryson." "I'm not going anywhere, pretty lady. Any time you need me I'll be here." Bryson got in his car after they said bye and he drove off. Shelby headed back inside to find Drew cleaning up the mess from dinner. "Drewy?" "Yes, Shelbs." "Come here and sit with me on the couch." "Let me finish cleaning this up and I will." "Drewy, that can wait. Please come sit with me." Drew stopped what he was doing and went to sit with Shelby. As soon as he sat down, Shelby pushed him back and crawled into his lap. She laid there with her head on his chest and her arms wrapped around his back. "Uh. Shelbs?" "Yes, Drewy?" "Can't breathe." "I'm sorry. I just needed to hug you." Shelby sat up straddling Drew and she looked down at him. She could see the want in his eyes but he was fighting it for her. She smiled at Drew. "Thank you for always being here for me, Drew. I don't know what I would do without you in my life." "I know I'm the most amazing bestie ever. Shelbs, no matter what goes on between us, I will always be here for you. You are my person. I don't want anyone else being my person." Drew?" "Yes?" Shelby leaned forward and kissed Drew. When she pulled back Drew sat there unsure of what to do. Shelby laughed at the awkwardness Drew was creating. "Drewy, relax. I kissed you for a reason. Now stop making this awkward and kiss me back." Drew didn't have to be told twice. He pulled Shelby close and kissed her. When they broke apart, Shelby climbed off of Drew and sat next to him on the couch. Drew pulled her against him and he turned the TV on. They sat there and watched TV for a little while before they both fell asleep.
