“Of course I’ll be there…” Felix quickly agreed being left with no choice. He was kicked around by his new employer so easily it made him feel like a punching back.
“Good, you’ve probably already received the time and place by email.” Griffin said right before ending the call, there wasn’t even a polite goodbye by the end of it.
Felix instantly felt the urge to throw his phone at the wall, but quickly stopped himself knowing that buying another one was out of the question. He calmed himself down and got up from bed, he checked his email and sure enough the party was in less than an hour and it was at the company to top it all off. Which meant he needed a ride there that wasn’t the bus if he wanted to arrive on time…
