“You really never cease to amaze me…” Romeo said in a genuinely happy voice. “Ever since we were in High School, I knew you’d become someone great…” Suddenly his tone started changing, becoming a bit deeper, talking a bit slower, his voice was soothing to listen to.
“How so?” Felix asked with an interested voice. Since they never really had deep conversations, it wasn’t like he’d ever shared his dreams or aspirations with the other male. So how could he possibly know what would become of him?
“You’ve always been different from others…” Romeo admitted. “…and I’ve always liked that about you. You never really fitted in with the others but you never cared, I found that really cool…”
