“It’s not even been a month since…” I couldn’t say the words, every time I even thought about what had happened it brought me close to tears. Crying, not an acceptable thing for a future alpha to do.
It was the hardest thing I had to do, rejecting my mate, but I had no other choice. I deserved better, the pack deserved better. She was undeserving of the title of Luna.
“You have no mate son…” My father looked at me with pity, making me feel even more worthless than I already did. “You need to take another.”
