Chaoter 4: Boss Kissed Me? (1)
***
“Hmp!? Mhm... nghm.... mhm....” Ezikiel felt the wet sensation of his boss’s tongue and he might have fainted in that instant if he didn’t fear being fired for refusing to kiss him back. ‘Is he testing me? Nobody does that... but still isn’t this s****l harassment!? From the boss?! The guy that doesn’t even get close to someone or shake their hand when meeting?! That guy!?’ This might have been the very first time Ezikiel felt so flabbergasted by anything in his life.
Meanwhile Weiss didn’t seem to have the same problem as him. ‘This is so fun... Ezikiel didn’t even bat an eye at seeing a real life ghost, but he gets all embarrassed and bothered when his boss kisses him... I wonder just how far can I go with this before getting discovered?’ Weiss felt the urge to continue teasing the man as revenge for the embarrassment that he had to endure on the other’s behalf. Even if pride was supposed to be a solely human emotion, Weiss still felt it none the less, and this was the way he chose to extract his revenge.
Weiss pressed down on Ezikiel even more, pinning his back to the wall behind him and breaking the kiss while looking the man in the eyes. “Ezikiel... I’ve wanted to do this to you for a long time...” Weiss said in a low voice. ‘Hehe... I’m so cool, aren’t I? And this body suits me perfectly, it’s pretty strong and the original host Astar isn’t much, mental wise... I could probably become the main host if I try hard enough...’ He thought to himself as he noticed the other’s expression had changed.
“Weiss? Is that... is that you?” Ezikiel asked with a blank look in his face while staring at the man. You couldn’t tell what emotion he was experiencing at that moment, if there was any emotion within those lifeless eyes at all.
“No, it’s me Astar! Obviously! Don’t you see!?” Weiss said in a flustered voice. His obvious panic might have been what made the other doubt him even more than before. His cover had been blown completely. ‘How did he see it’s me?!’ He wondered to himself as he felt someone grab him by the chest.
“You possessed my boss?” Ezikiel asked with a very calm mannered voice but within those darkened eyes you could see he was angered. “And you kissed me using his body?” He asked, once more you couldn’t really be able to tell unless you were looking at Ezikiel’s eyes whom at that moment might have been the gates of Hell with the amount of burning rage that was hidden behind them.
“W-well... I mean you told me to hide, right? And your boss just so happens to be—What are you doing!?” Weiss panicked, trying to explain himself but it was already too late, and even though he knew it for himself he still attempted to save face. But mostly it was because he felt fear towards this human that was the first one to actually manage to grab him before. ‘Wait... a minute... He can’t do s**t to me right now! I’m in Astar’s body so if he hits me I might feel the pain temporally but he’ll be hurting his boss! So he can’t do it!’ Suddenly Weiss felt a surge of confidence come back to him. “Well Ezikiel, now that you know it’s me, what are you going to do, huh?” Weiss asked in an overly confident tone of voice while crossing his arms. But then in the next second he felt his very soul being gripped by the man.
“Get out.” Ezikiel ordered as he seemingly managed to drag out just the ghost’s soul outside his boss’s body and then throw him aside. Leaving Astar’s body in an unconscious state, he fell to the ground with a loud thud sound as his entire weight smacked against the wooden floors.
“Look what you did... Astar is on the ground because of you...” Ezikiel said as he slowly walked towards the ghost that laid on the ground almost as if he was hurt.
“B-because of me?! You’re the one that threw me out like that! And---! Why are you getting closer?!” Weiss panicked as he dragged himself backwards across the floor. He couldn’t fly at that moment as if something was holding him back from doing so. ‘I was just planning on playing an innocent prank on him... but this is becoming dangerous...’ Weiss thought to himself while stil attempting to run away from the other man.
“You know... Weiss... you asked me why I don’t fear ghosts like you, do you want to know why?” Ezikiel asked while tilting his head to the side and lowering his body to grab onto Weiss’s ghostly form.
“W-why?” Weiss asked with a bit of a stutter even he wasn’t sure what gave that person such intensity or even fearlessness when faced with an entity that was out of this world. Maybe it was because Weiss was so used to having humans fear him that he never believed he’d encounter someone that doesn’t... so he was now the one afraid of the unknown instead of the other way around.
"Because I am afraid of humans far more than I'd ever be afraid of ghosts..." Ezikiel said while using one of his hands to hold onto Weiss so that he could not escape him and the other he had folded into a fist prepared to hit him.
“E-Ezikiel, I see that you are very emotional at the moment... and maybe it’s not the best time for us to talk so maybe we can try this again another time, uh?” Weiss suggested with an innocent sounding tone of voice while shivering in fear. “What exactly are you planning to do with that hand, huh? You can’t actually hit a ghost! I don’t have anything to hit! I’m basically a living cloud and—EEEK!!” He cried out in fear the second Ezikiel’s hand moved closer to him.
“I don’t care what you are... dead or alive, your existence ends here.” Ezikiel said as he was about to visibly beat a ghost out of this earth but he heard rustling behind him and a low groan that he recognized to be his boss’s... Ezikiel turned back to Weiss one more time and gave him a warning. “If you dare do anything like that again I will end you.”
While if Weiss were to have heard that from any other living being on the planet, he might have laughed in the person’s face and did whatever he pleased, but at that moment he couldn’t even imagine going against that particular human’s demand. “Yes...” Weiss nodded his head in understanding.
“Sir, are you alright!?” Ezikiel quickly let go of the ghost and hurried back to his employer’s side with a worried expression on his face.
“What happened?” Astar asked as he lifted his head up and barely managed to open his eyes, his entire body felt sore as if someone had ran him over with a car, twice. “Everything... hurts so much...”
“Sir, you suddenly lost consciousness and fell to the ground.” Ezikiel explained while helping the man to stand up. “Please, I’ll lead you to the sofa...” He said with a gentle voice and no less polite manner of speech while walking next to his employer and holding him by the shoulder and waist.
‘Eh... so even that hard ass can be gentle with others... why is he so mad at me all the time then?’ Weiss wondered to himself as he regained his ability to fly again and rose up to watch the two men interacting. Weiss was so casual about it as if he had completely forgotten he was the reason this entire mess was happening in the first place...
