Atticus's POV

"Are you sure that it's her?" Xavion asked. I took a deep breath while staring at the photo.

"It's her, bro... Definitely her."

I just can't believe it when I bumped into her the other day. I have an important meeting with one of the investors in Japan and a stockholders meeting on the next day. And because of that incident, I had to cancel my flight to Tokyo and re-schedule everything.

Gusto kong makasigurado na hindi ako namamalik mata sa mga sandaling iyun. Kung nagkakamali man ang mga mata ko ay tiyak hindi ang puso.

And just like that the night was over after that. Hindi rin ako nakatulog. Paulit-ulit ang mukha niya sa isip ko at hindi ko maalis ito. I did her interview and privately asked for it. The project in Japan came good and I couldn't wait to be back. We stayed more than a week for the company there, and Drew Mondragon take charge of the rest. Xavion then had given me the details of the people that are close to her and her family. I admit it, I did not even try to ask this from her when we were together. I was busy adoring and loving her. I was busy trying to get her heart, to make her mine.

"Vilma, can you send in Ms Leebody tomorrow in my office."

"Oh? Uhm... S-Sure, Sir."

Binaba ko na ang tawag. Kararating ko lang galing Japan, at nagpasundo ako kay Manong Noy. I sigh heavily and rested my head. Napansin agad ni Manong ang pagod ko. Somehow in my career, ngayon lang ako napagod ng ganito.

"Pagod sa biyahe, anak?" si Manong Noy sa akin. He's not just my personal driver but he is a family to me.

"Masakit lang ang ulo ko, Tay."

"Magpahinga ka muna. Huwag mo masyadong abusuhin ang katawan mo. Mayaman ka na, sobra pa. Ano pa ba ang kulang, Atticus? Matanda na ang Mama at Papa mo. Bisitahin mo sila, anak."

Tumiin-bagang ako nang marinig ko ito. Mama never stop calling me. She's making sure that I am okay and well. Papa is heartless. Not even once he spoke to me after that incident. Tatlong taon na ang nakalipas at magpahanggang ngayon ay hindi pa kami nag-uusap ni Papa ng maayos.

"I will, Manong. Don't worry," I said lazily.

I shut my eyes, trying to get a little sleep but then my phone rang, it was Norman. He's in the Casino Monde together with Conrad and Travis.

"Okay. I will be there..."

Tamad akong lumabas sa kotse at pinaghintay lang din si Manong Noy. I won't be long and I will just say my hello to all the boys. I noticed that most of the staff did not expect my presence. Halata sa mga kilos nila ang pagkatranta. Madalas may kasama akong gwardiya sa likod, pero hindi ngayon. Hindi ko kailangan sila.

Nang marating ang VIP section sa itaas ay isang babae ang kumuha ng atensyon ko.

"Ma'am Helen, si Gaige po..."

I stop for a moment and my heart throbbed when I heard her name.

Ilang Gaige pa ba ang meron sa kompanyang ito? Hahakbang na sana ako pero parang napako lang din ang mga paa ko rito.

"W-Wala po siyang alarm code, Ma'am. Nakasara po ang VIP room at rinig ko ang pagtawag niya sa pangalan ko, Ma'am..."

Kumunot na ang noo ko at nilingon siya. Halata sa kilos niya ang pag-aalala. Binaba na niya ang tawag at mukhang hindi siya pinakinggan ng kausap nito. Napansin niya agad ang presensya ko at tumango na.

"Good evening, Sir."

My brows lifted and I stared at her seriously. She didn't know me and that only mean one thing... She's new. I walk closer to her and she stood up formally in front of me.

"Who's inside the VIP?"

"P-Po? A-Ano po, Sir. K-Kasama ko po na bago, si Gaige po."

"Gaige who?"

"Gaige Leebody po, Sir."

Damn it!

It seems like a heavy rock came down from heavens and it landed on my shoulder. Napakuyom kamao ako, na para bang gusto kong pumatay ng tao.

"Which door?"

"D-Dito po, Sir."

Mabilis siyang humakbang patungo at nakasunod lang din ako. Nahinto siya sa pinto ng isa sa mga VIP dito.

"Move away," utos ko at umatras agad siya.

I stood up in front of the f*****g door counting. Wala akong narinig mula sa loob dahil lahat nang mga silid dito ay sound proof.

How the hell did Gaige end up here? f*****g damn it!

I fished out something in my pocket and scan it in front of me. Nagdilim ang paningin ko nang makita ang marahas na paghawak nila kay Gaige.

Disgusting pig! Magbabayad silang lahat ngayon.
