Andrea muffled her annoyance and drowned a glass of alcohol. She sat alone at the bar drinking some alcohol. The barman pulled off his apron and climbed on his seat opposite her. He was done with his shift.
She placed the glass on the counter and glanced up at his face. She had been at the bar all morning after her little run in with her uncle, the bar served her place of solitude whenever she wanted to clear her head.
She sat at the extreme end of the bar, even if there was a crowd, no one would notice her.
"What happened again between you and your uncle"He asked, their relationship was a bit familiar after she helped him secured a work at the bar.
Andrea swallowed the hot taste down her throat, her bored eyes barely registered anything. She was still dressed in a leather pants and jacket, a scarf was around her head and her hair fell over her shoulder.
Her mind was jumbled up with a lot of thought, hurting Antonio was taking away her sanity.
"Messy as always"She replied as she puts down the glass. The bar was pretty empty. It was late afternoon.
The barman poured two shots of drink and passed one of the drink to her."Maybe you should drop this idea of revenge and move on with your life, you are still young. I don't think you should pause your life this way".He advised like he always does but he knew she would not take it either way.
"Eric, we have talked about this a millionth times and nothing can ever change my mind"She took a heavy gulp of the hot drink and her face contort at the taste.
"But you have a lot to live for, putting your life on the line isn't worth it"He said.
Andrea tore her eyes away and said in an unbothered tone,"I've come too far to give up now Eric, nothing can ever change my mind."
Eric sighed and shrugged."So how will you spend the weeks of absence they gave you, you should try having fun"He said.
Andrea finished up the drink and smiled blankly."I'm just a pawn in their struggle for power, what's the need of fun for someone like me".
Eric reached out and placed his hand over hers."You can always reach out to me if you ever need anything".
Andrea stared at his hand over hers and then at his face. He wasn't bad looking as he stood about 6ft tall, beautiful blue eyes and a sharp jawline but although he's been showing a lot of interest in her, he just wasn't her type of guy.
"I kn.."She paused as two figure entered the bar.
Eric followed her eyes to see two people walk to the bar. Andrea had never shown interest in the opposite gender apart from drunk night s*x.
The guy laughed as the girl whispered into his ear. He seemed carefree and happy.
Andrea grip around the glass tightened."Pour me another shot of alcohol".
He looked at her in confusion. Her once blank expression had morphed into an angry one."Do you know those two?"Eric questioned as he poured her a shot of alcohol.
"I don't"She replied casually, her eyes still on the two.
Eric could tell that she was lying but still nodded and glance back at the two.

"Why did you bring me to a bar"Louis asked. He dropped his phone on the counter and glanced round the bar.
Layla frowned and pouted up at him."I didn't know where else to take you to, you don't like it here".She then flashed him flashed him a bright smile as he nodded.
"I love it"He smiled.
Lies! Louis secretly frowned. He hadn't eaten anything all day and here he was in a bar about to drink on an empty stomach but he didn't want her to feel bad.
"Bring over a few shots of your strongest alcohol"Layla cheerfully waved at the barman.
"Layla! You want to get drunk huh"His eyes roamed about the bar which was fairly empty.
Layla chuckled and nudged his shoulder, sighing a little,"Just loosen up and have fun, you might find a girl to do the deeds with.".
"Layla"Louis groaned, his face felt hot as the memories of the previous night flashed across his mind.
She leaned closer to him and smiled. Louis quickly moved back in discomfort. The bartender passed her a few glasses of drink.
She passed two to Louis who just nodded. One of the waiters walked over and handed her a paper bag.
"Thanks."She beamed and handed the bag to Louis.
He looked at her in awe."You ordered my favorite hot dog."
"You haven't eaten all morning so I just thought that you might be hungry"She explained. A grin spread across as he tasted it.
"Gosh Layla! You're the best I swear"He took another bite with a grateful smile.
Layla grabbed her scarf and leaned closer to him."You eat like a baby"She smiled and gently wiped his lips.
She giggled and dropped back the scarf, his tender green eyes dropped back to his food and he shook his head dispelling his wandering thoughts.
A crumb fell from his lip on to his shirt. He felt her eyes rolling down the length of his body.
Louis wasn't bulky like some guys, he was lean and tone, his features were soft like a girl. He had an attractive face and beautiful jawline.
Louis could pass for an idol.
"Layla are you okay?"Louis gently shook at her thigh. She snapped out of her thoughts and her eyes dashed up to his.
Her eyes fall to his hand that was still on her thigh. Louis quickly moved his hand away but his actions caused her to smile.
Layla shook her head, sighing heavily,"You're really good looking, I wish I could date you"She winked.
"Layla, stop teasing me"Louis groaned.
"I'm just thinking about work"She took a slow sip of the liquor."Won't you drink with me"She asked.
"Of course"Louis replied and she passed him a shot of alcohol. He quickly gulped it down and his face squeezed as the hot taste went down his throat.
She giggled and passed him another shot.
"Layla!"He groaned out but still drown the drink.
"Good boy"She smiled in satisfaction, meanwhile Louis grew anxious. He had never taken that much alcohol before but Layla passed him another shot.
"I don't think I can take any more"Louis complained. His alcohol tolerance was pretty low.
"C'mon, just drink with me, it's not everyday we get to sit out"She whined.
"Layla, my throat feels dry and hot.."Louis complained.
Layla scooted closer and touched his neck, he was momentarily stunned as her finger gently touched his skin.
"I'm sorry, did I make you drink too much"She chuckled.
Louis leaned away and slowly suggested,"I think I should go home, I feel pretty hammered"He replied. The alcohol was taking effects on him.
"Not so fast! I'm not done drinking and besides you don't like spending time with me so let me savour this little moment."Layla stretched out and slowly sipped on her alcohol.
Louis face was flushed and his eyes looked so daze. The effect of the alcohol was slowly hitting him.
Glancing at his flushed face, her heart beat accelerated. Few moments later, Louis landed his head on the counter and closed his eyes.
Seeing this, Layla dropped her drink on the counter and scooted over to him.
Her eyes studied his features. She moved her fingers to his hair and then to his lips.
"I've been flirting and showing that I like you, why can't you like me back,"She kept touching his slightly opened lips. She knew she liked him a lot.
She pulled closer and bent slightly, her lips approached his, closing her eyes, before their lips could touch, someone pulled her off.
