Chapter Fifty-Five:
I wake feeling cold all the way to my bones. I sat up and looked around the room. The window is wide open, snow is falling inside the room through the open window and Tasha’s bed is empty. I also note that the room is empty, no bedding on the beds, nothing on the desks. I jump up and run to the closet, Empty. I run to the door but the second I grab the handle it Zaps me hard almost making me crumple to my knees. I ran to the window and looked outside. The snow is falling hard and thick and I was three floors up with no way to get down. I looked down at myself and noticed I was wearing shorts and a tank top. Most certainly not winter clothes. I try jumping out the window but it’s like I hit an invisible wall. I can’t put my hand more than a foot out the window before it
