Chapter Twenty-Four:
I must have fallen asleep because one second I was crying and the next loud thundering knocks were rapping on the door making me sit up startled. The light near the ceiling showed it was very early morning. “Rebecca Allison Black open up this door right now!” Echoed my Mom’s voice loud and angry. I opened up the curtains and Tasha opened the door. My Mother stormed right up to me and pulled me out of bed and to the closet. She grabbed a dress hanger and all and drug me towards the bathroom.
“Mom what the heck let go of me and tell me what you are doing!” I snipped and tried to pull free but her grip tightened.
“Don’t you dare say another word! You have five minutes!” She shoved me into the bathroom and shoved the dress into my hands. “Put it on, hurry up, right now!
