“Let me mark you, Jesse…they can’t make me reject you once you’re marked.” Adler breathed on her neck as he hovered over her. She lay under him in post-coital bliss and blinked as she felt his teeth brush over her neck.
“Wait…there’s things about me you don’t know…I’m…” Jesse slapped her hands against his chest, pushing him back in panic. Their eyes met, Adler’s were blazing like molten metal and he snarled, baring his fangs.
The door suddenly burst open and before either of them knew what was happening Adler was ripped from the bed as four huge warriors tried to pin him down. Jesse saw one more come into the room holding silver shackles and chains. Jesse scrambled into a ball and yanked the covers up over herself as she huddled against the bedhead in terror.
