"Cathy," A low voice suddenly sounded in the quiet car.
Catherine thought Leonard woke up, but she saw his eyes were still closed. Leonard should be having a dream and Catherine did not take it seriously.
"Cathy, I love you."
Leonard's words made Catherine's body completely stiff. She didn't know how to react.
Catherine turned back in disbelief, but Leonard was still drunk and lost his consciousness. But there was a saying that drunkenness revealed what soberness concealed. Did Leonard say the truth?
Catherine pushed Leonard hard to the other side, whose head hit on the window. The driver could not help looking in the rearview mirror.
Leonard turned sober because of the hit and he opened his eyes and smiled, "Cathy."
Catherine moved to the side, looking at Leonard, who was not completely sober. Catherine has never seen Leonard be so drunk.
No matter when it was, Leonard's identity did not allow him to be in a state of unconsciousness.
What had happened today? Why did Leonard go out of control and drink so much wine? But it didn't have much to do with her.
When Leonard looked at Catherine's movements, his face darkened, "You are not Cathy. How could she be here? She won't care about me."
What was the meaning of his aggrieved tone? Catherine's face suddenly darkened and she didn't want to speak.
She didn't want to care whether Leonard was still in a drunken fit.
Leonard turned sober just for a while and became unconscious again.
Catherine sipped her lips, ignoring Leonard.
They finally arrived at the castle.
Catherine struggled to help Leonard get out of the car, only to find that he was really heavy. She felt that her waist was about to be broken.
She was really asking for trouble. If she hadn't talked to him, she would have gone to bed already.
Finally, the good-hearted driver helped her. Catherine helped Leonard to the door, ringing the doorbell.
The servants were supposed to be all asleep. It had been a while before someone came to open the door.
"Mr. Campbell and Mrs..." When the housekeeper looked at Catherine, he was a little excited, "I'll call Grandfather Campbell."
"Don't bother him." Catherine quickly stopped the housekeeper, "You take him back. I'll go back first."
The housekeeper hurriedly called Catherine, "It's so late. Stay here for one night. The driver will take you to work tomorrow."
Catherine shook her head without thinking about it, "I have to go back. Don't tell him that I took him back."
Catherine put Leonard against the door and directly turned back to the car. She had asked the driver to wait for her for a while. Anyway, the driver was delighted that he could make more money by taking Catherine back.
The housekeeper could only watch Catherine get on the car helplessly and then helped Leonard go into the castle.
When he closed the door, Leonard suddenly stood straight. Mr. Campbell was not drunk at all.
"Mr. Campbell?" The housekeeper stared at him and did know how to respond.
Leonard looked at him coldly, "Get out."
The housekeeper hurriedly went out. Mr. Campbell was not drunk at all and he tricked Catherine. Needless to say, Mr. Campbell already knew Catherine had taken him back.
Forget it. He was just a housekeeper and it's none of his business.
It took Catherine more than an hour to go back to the community. It's almost 1 am in the morning.
Catherine was exhausted. She went upstairs and quietly opened the door. Ms. Brown and Mr. Brown always went to bed early, so there was no one in the living room.
Catherine went back to her room quietly, casually changed a suit of clothes, and went to bed.
When she woke up, it was noon the next day.
Catherine slowly opened her eyes. When she recalled what she had done yesterday, she couldn't tell whether it was a dream for a while. Thinking of her shift tonight, she didn't want to get up but fall asleep again.
It was three o'clock in the afternoon when she woke up again. She quickly got up and washed.
Ms. Brown and Mr. Brown were taking a nap at the moment, so Catherine quietly got out of the door.
Andrew did not intend to go to the hospital directly. Instead, she went to a coffee shop and ordered herself a cup of coffee. She seated herself and opened the book with her.
After lunch, she read the book for a while. After reading, she went to the hospital slowly. There was still time, and she was not in a hurry.
Catherine saw the car of Leonard at the hospital gate from a distance. Soon she understood that Leonard knew what had happened yesterday.
Catherine sighed helplessly. She didn't understand why she had caused herself big trouble.
Did she forget the previous lesson? She just wanted to slap herself.
Catherine was ready to bypass Leonard expressionlessly, but Leonard caught sight of her and soon came over. He accurately stood in front of Catherine, "Cathy, we have to talk."
"There's nothing to talk about. I've got plans for your grandpa's illness."
"I'm talking about us." Leonard didn't intend to go.
Catherine suddenly darkened her face and shook off his hand, "Mr. Campbell, I need to remind you that we have divorced. Please do not harass me again. You have caused me a lot of trouble. I don't want to be called out of bed in the middle of the night to clean up the mess of someone I don't care about!"
Catherine said ruthlessly. Sure enough, she saw Leonard changed his look.
"You came to me yesterday." Leonard looked at Catherine and wanted to find warmth from her.
"I'll be there no matter who calls me in that case." Catherine looked at Leonard coldly.
Leonard, "..."
Catherine did not want to talk with him and went into the hospital. Fortunately, Leonard did not follow her.
Catherine breathed a sigh of relief. She shook her head in order to get rid of the mess of emotions in her mind.
"Catherine, don't think confusedly. It's time to work." Catherine secretly told herself in the heart, and then went into the elevator.
There was no one in the elevator. When the elevator door was about to close, someone rushed over. Catherine pressed the button to wait for him.
