Leonard slowly turned his head and looked at Andrew. He was in a good mood, but he gave no indication of his mood.
It's a dream for Andrew, who just knew Catherine, to compare with Leonard.
Andrew did not look at Leonard for a long time but took back his line of sight. He was still smiling and his real mood couldn't be found out.
Leonard sighed that Andrew was really capable of hiding his emotions.
Although Andrew always treated others gently, Leonard was not inferior to him. Basically, no one has seen his other expressions except Catherine.
Catherine vaguely felt the atmosphere was not right. She simply didn't want to take care of it, drinking her coffee quietly.
Ryan looked at the two people opposite who were drinking coffee. He was not comfortable with it. He had intended to help his father to date with Catherine and he didn't want Leonard to take the advantage.
Ryan stood up from his seat and pushed the juice in front of him, "Cathy, drink the juice. It's sweet. It's better than coffee."
Leonard knew what Ryan wanted to do. When he met Ryan's provocative look, he turned his head around.
When Catherine heard Ryan's words, she looked over and put on a smile on her face. She took over the juice handed by Ryan, "Thank you. I'll buy you another cup."
Leonard couldn't help frowning. Since Catherine accepted Leonard's juice, why did she still want to buy him another cup? If she was ready to buy another cup, why didn't she drink the new one?
Of course, Catherine would not have thought what Leonard had considered. Only in the face of the enthusiasm and sincerity of the child, it was hard for her to refuse him. Anyway, Ryan didn't drink the juice, so there was nothing if she took over his juice.
The dishes were soon ordered. When they were waiting for the dishes, the three people were talking to Catherine one by one.
Catherine noticed the strangeness and simply didn't speak.
Finally, the dishes were served so that Catherine was relieved, but this was not the end.
Catherine's plate was filled with food in less than a minute. The three people themselves didn't eat but forked the food to her.
She could understand Ryan's actions because he was a child. But the other two adults were really childish.
She used one hand to cover her plate, "That's enough. Do you want to have lunch? If you don't, I'll leave."
Ryan took the fork back first and defiantly looked at Leonard, "Did you hear it?"
Catherine took a look at Ryan, who put out his tongue. Ryan did not say anything else but lowered his head down to eat.
After all, she couldn't be angry about the child. She got along well with Ryan and she was fond of this child. She forked some food to his plate.
Andrew watched Catherine's fork fall into Ryan's plate. Then Ryan took a glance at Catherine with happiness and then forked the food into his mouth.
All right. If Catherine could cure this boy's picky eating problem, it would be the best.
Leonard stared at Ryan, only to feel that he was angry, but there was no way. He couldn't ask Catherine to fork his food in front of such a few people.
If Catherine did so, it would be fine. The problem was that Catherine would not do so.
So Leonard continued to eat his own food. Catherine would fork him food for him one day. He could not be in a hurry.
Catherine took good care of Ryan during lunch, but she didn't take more look at Leonard and Andrew.
Their lunch was finally finished in silence. Leonard called the waiter and was ready to check the bill, but Leonard and Andrew handed their card to the waiter almost at the same time.
The waiter was at a loss of what to do when he saw the two cards in front of him. He was confused about which card he should choose. He had no idea, so he stared at the two cards.
"Use mine." Andrew smiled gently and said first.
"This one," Leonard said so seriously that the waiter was afraid to refuse.
For a while, the two stood deadlocked. When Ryan was about to say something, suddenly a small stack of cash was put on the waiter's plate, "Take this, and here is your tip."
"Cathy."
Ryan turned his head and looked over. Catherine's look was unchanged. She carried her bag, ready to leave, "I'll go first."
"Cathy, wait. Let my father give you a ride. Thank you for inviting us to lunch. We are friends, right?" Ryan looked at Catherine and fought for the chance for his father.
Catherine felt that what Ryan said made sense. She could save a little money if Andrew gave her a ride. After all, she had treated them lunch. So she nodded and said yes.
Leonard turned anxious. He knew Andrew had his intentions, so he wouldn't allow him to take Catherine back. As they stayed in the car, no one would know what would happen.
"No!" Leonard blurted out and the other three people looked at him.
Leonard felt he was too excited and hurriedly found a way to remedy.
He turned indifferent as usual, "Uncle Smith called me and said that grandpa was not very comfortable. He would like to invite you to the castle."
Ryan was irritated by Leonard's shamelessness. He did not take his illness as a bargaining chip, but unexpectedly Leonard took an old man as a bargaining chip.
But he had to admit that this way was indeed feasible. Catherine, who has already walked to Andrew, finally turned to Leonard.
Leonard breathed a sigh of relief. It worked. As he mentioned Grandfather Campbell, he won Andrew.
"Will you go?" Catherine stood by the car, looking at Leonard coldly. She didn't want to talk more with him.
Leonard walked to the driver's seat. Catherine was still saying goodbye to Andrew and Ryan with a gentle voice and smile.
When Catherine got in the car, Leonard wanted to say something. But Catherine closed her eyes directly and no longer intended to carry out any communication.
Leonard sighed. He was not willing to force Catherine, so he started the car.
Andrew and Ryan were watching the car leave in place. Finally, Ryan could not help but gnash his teeth, "f**k you."
Andrew looked down at his son, who was really angry. He has never seen his son being like this, "Do not say dirty words."
Ryan frowned, "He is bullying you. If you can't do it, say it to me early."
