The relationship between patients and doctors was strained. Some people would feel it was wrong no matter what Catherine did.
She could only give patients as much help as possible, but it was not necessarily useful.
Before leaving, Catherine couldn't help giving advice and instruction to the patient's family. As they became impatient, Catherine stopped talking.
When Zoey saw the attitude of the patient's family, she could not help frowning. When she got out of the ward, she said in a low voice, "They really don't know what is good for the patient."
Catherine smiled and looked over, "You feel sympathetic towards me?"
Catherine was teasing Zoey and she was not irritated by the patient's family.
"Dr. Winston, you are clearly for their good. They are so ungrateful. If the patient died, his family would blame us in return."
Catherine rubbed her head, "It's OK. We are doctors. Do what we should do. Never mind what other people think."
"But..."
"Go on routine inspections." Catherine smiled to remind Zoey. Zoey stopped talking, but she was still resentful.
Catherine smiled in a low voice. Fortunately, the last patient was Ryan, who didn't care whether the person who went into his ward was happy or angry.
While Catherine just knocked on the door, she heard a voice inside, "Come in."
Thinking of the flowers on the table, Catherine was relieved. That Andrew came to the hospital so early was not for sending her flowers.
"Mr. Williams, I'll do a routine check for Ryan." Catherine nodded slightly to Andrew.
"Well, thank you." Andrew got out of the way.
Ryan took a glance at his father and took a deep breath helplessly. If his father wanted to date with Catherine, he had to help him in person.
Andrew did not know his son's disdain. He smiled, seriously looking at Catherine give Ryan a check. He had no others in his eyes.
While working, Catherine only had her patients in her mind. Ryan was thinking about how to help his father date with Catherine. Only Zoey noticed that Andrew fixed his line of sight on Catherine.
Although Andrew was the patient's family, it seemed that he was interested in Catherine. His flowers had ulterior motives. Andrew was afraid of being found out, so he sent the banner with the flowers by the way. Then he could successfully retreat to a safe distance.
When Zoey was thoughtful, she did not find that Andrew has taken his line of sight back from Catherine.
When she found it, she was startled, and then she saw Andrew smiling at her.
Actually, Mr. Williams and Mr. Campbell were similar. It's really a complicated question that Catherine should choose.
After checking, Catherine left with Zoey who was still in a daze.
"What is it? You are out of your wits?" After leaving the ward, Catherine looked at Zoey, who has not come back to mind now.
"Dr. Winston, trust me. Ryan's father is absolutely interested in you. You believe me."
"Well, I believe you." Catherine yielded to Zoey's speculation. In order to get rid of her, she nodded perfunctorily.
Catherine's perfunctory tone was undisguised. Zoey looked at Catherine speechlessly. It didn't matter. Dr. Winston would believe her one day.
She was absolutely right this time!
Catherine looked at the expression of Zoey and then she knew what she was thinking. She simply ignored her and turned back to the office.
In the ward, after Catherine left, Ryan kept frowning. Hadn't his father and Catherine had breakfast together yesterday? Ryan asked his father, "How was your breakfast yesterday?"
Andrew smiled gently and told Ryan the truth, "I didn't have breakfast with her. Leonard took her away."
Ryan was speechless, "Can you try a little harder? I want you two to be together. Just date with her for me, okay?"
"I like her too." Andrew continued to smile gently.
His father liked Catherine, but he let Leonard take her away. Was Andrew really his father? Why were they so different?
"Forget it. I'll help you. I cannot wait any longer." Ryan waved his hand in disdain.
Andrew was happy about that, "That's fine."
Ryan suddenly looked sideways, staring at Andrew. Why did he feel that he fell into the trap of his father?
"What? You are uncomfortable?" Andrew looked down at his son, "Would you like me to call a doctor for you?"
Ryan looked at Andrew suspiciously, "No. Don't get too close to me."
Andrew went to the sofa obediently and casually picked up a magazine to read.
Ryan frowned. He felt strange, but he couldn't tell why it was strange.
On the other side, Leonard went back to the office after the meeting and he received a phone call. After answering the phone, he darkened his face.
He took a glance at the various documents on the table, opened the document at hand, and hastily signed on it.
Leonard worked efficiently this morning. Before eleven o'clock, Leonard took the key to his car and hurried out.
At the same time, Zoey knocked on the door of Catherine's office and walked in, "Dr. Winston, the patient in Room 1803 rang the bell."
Catherine was ready to have lunch. When she heard Zoey's words, she hurried to follow her to Room 1803.
Although Ryan's physical condition was all right in this morning's examination, there was a possibility that he could have a sudden onset.
If he had a sudden onset in this kind of physical condition, it would be fatal.
Zoey followed Catherine and looked at her in a hurry. Well, as a doctor, it was normal for Catherine to worry about a patient. What if it was mixed with other emotions?
Catherine hurriedly pushed open the door of Room 1803 and she saw Andrew and Ryan standing outside. Ryan had no signs of disease onset.
Zoey understood what happened and she went out. With Ryan as an assistant of Andrew, Mr. Campbell would lose.
"You?" Catherine looked at the two people.
