Chapter 13: The End of the Pier
Saul and Tom argue about not packing any suntan lotion. Their words are vicious to each other and echo over the island. Asshole, b***h, and stupid fucker are just a few insults that are heard. The two banter in their upstairs bedroom following their walk. Saul slaps Tom and Tom lets out a feminine yelp. The action clearly states to me that the relationship between the two men is toxic and unhealthy. Neither should be with the other.
