Chapter 1My sister had a tendency to talk loud, which is why I never put her on speaker phone. Which is how I ended up juggling my laptop bag, my mail, two boxes of pizza, and a tote bag full of binders from work, all while balancing the phone between my ear and shoulder and attempting to slide my key into the lock. It was not going well. On my third attempt, the door swung open, and I pitched forward. Thankfully my roommate caught my arm, helping me catch my balance, and rescuing the pizza just in time. “Becky,” I mouthed, which was all I had to say for Greg to understand. When my sister called, it was hard to get a word in edgewise and he’d been her unwilling audience of one enough times over the years to know my pain. He grinned at me and rolled his eyes as he took the tote and laptop
