CHAPTER 8 :The Antidote

(AMELIA'S POV) "Any problem?" I asked, snapping him back to attention. "No... um... I was just wondering... Would you like to eat anything? So I can prepare it for you," he stammered. Prepare food for me, his slave? What kind of master is he? He was dying to have me, to have his d**k inside my v****a. But if he really needed that, why hasn't he raped me since I was just his slave? "No, I'm not hungry," I lied, though my stomach was very empty. The last time I ate was yesterday, before the attack. "Please, you have to eat something. You look weak, please eat something," he insisted with a pleading look. "Okay, get me anything, I'll eat," I said, my fear of him lessening a lot. "Anything?" he asked, and I nodded. He left the room and closed the door behind him. For the second time today, I looked around the room. What kind of young, handsome man would be living in this very old-fashioned house in this era? I inhaled heavily and lay back down on the bed, staring at the ceiling. To be sincere, though he called me his slave, I haven't been treated like one. It felt like he was protecting me or something, and it seemed he had feelings for me. If not for the fact that I didn't want anything to distract or delay me from getting revenge on the Reyes family, from Anthony to every single one of them, I might have given him a chance to love me, and I could have loved him too. But love would distract and delay me, and I don't need that. After a few minutes, he returned carrying a tray with plates on it. He walked to a wooden table in the middle of the room and set the plates down. Without saying a word or even glancing at me, he left the room again and returned with two wooden chairs. He placed one chair on one side of the table and the other opposite. He gestured for me to sit on one of the chairs. I stood up from the bed and approached one of the chairs and sat. He sat opposite me. He took out the plates from the tray and opened them. He dished out some food for himself and for me from a large plate and passed mine to me. It was rice and chicken sauce. The smell of the food intoxicated me. I began eating. He did too. As we ate, he kept stealing glances at me. I pretended not to notice. I adjusted the sleeveless underwear I was wearing, slightly revealing the top of my breasts and making my n*****s more visible. I was trying to seduce him. I heard a low moan from his side, seemingly from deep inside him, perhaps from his inner wolf. I guessed his inner wolf was dying to f**k me. I continued eating, and he continued stealing glances. The room was silent except for the sound of our cutlery on the plates. "I'm sorry about what happened to your pack. About Anthony Reyes's attack and destruction," he suddenly said, breaking the silence. I swallowed my food. So he knew about the attack? Well, if he was present when I was being auctioned, he could have heard it from the auctioneer. "It's okay! I'm fine now. Whatever happened yesterday is in the past," I replied, lying. The attack and destruction of my pack still felt like an open wound. It's not yet the past until I have my revenge. "You are safe here now with me. I'll protect you. No one can ever hurt you again, not even a god," he promised with an assuring look. But hold on, was I really a slave to him or was there something he wasn't telling me? I think now is the time to tell him about the antidote. "Why don't I feel my wolf? Yesterday I could, but since I woke up today, it seems I can't feel her anymore. Why?" I asked, pretending not to know. "You can't feel your inner wolf?" he asked, and I nodded. "Guess it makes sense now. That's why you aren't feeling the pull," he murmured. "Pull?" "Sorry, I mean happy. I mean that's why you aren't looking happy," he replied, but I felt he was hiding something. I could see it in his expression. "Yeah, I'm not happy about that." "I guess that's because of the potion the auctioneer gave you, and the one the auction winner gave you too. I think your wolf is weakened," he said. "Does that mean I would remain like this forever?" I asked with a pitiful look. "Hmmm... I think if nothing is done, the answer is yes. But if we can get an antidote to activate your inner wolf, then the answer is no. But getting the antidote would be very hard, as hard as you could imagine, because only witches can prepare it. And there are no witches in this pack, which means one would have to visit the witch kingdom to get it, and doing that isn't easy," he said. "If I may ask, what is your name?" "I'm Amelia," I said, not risking telling him my last name. "Please, can you help me get the antidote? Please?" I touched his left hand which was resting on the table. He closed his eyes immediately upon feeling my touch, as if he felt a tingling sensation or something. He opened his eyes again. "I'll do that for you, dear. I'll get it for you if that would make you happy. Tonight, I'll visit them and get it for you," he promised with a wide smile. I faked a smile, returning it to him. "Thank you. I'll really appreciate it if you do that for me." I can't wait to have my hands on the antidote, activate my wolf, and leave. First, I have to visit Wyrmshold, my mother's kingdom. My father asked me to go there in case anything went wrong during the attack before he was captured and chained. I don't know why he asked me to go there, but I suspect it has something to do with the stone. After that, I will have my revenge.
