Goodbye and Rescue Team

It was night time already John, Jeanne, and Rick was having dinner. This time, the dinner was more delicious than the last one. A rabbit stewed was prepared in the table, John was slightly happy as he can finally eat meat again.
As John takes a bite he was immediately disappointed by the taste. It was not bad, but the taste was bland like it was only cooked without spices and seasoning.
John already has an idea of why the stew tastes like that, it was only the rich and powerful could afford to buy spices in this kind of era.
With John's high-class palate in food, this made him dissatisfied with the food that Jeanne prepared. But he didn't want to be rude to Jeanne and her father, he immediately finishes the stew in one go. He did this so that Jeanne and her father might think that he likes the food, and second, he didn't want to taste the food any longer.
Jeanne's father saw John finished the stew this made him happy that someone enjoyed his daughter's cooking skills. So he immediately grabs John's bowl and said.
" If you want more John I would be happy to fill your bowl with another one."
John wasn't expecting this reaction from Rick, realizing that he just made the situation, worse by finishing the food as fast as he can. So he immediately plans to dodge this bullet as he didn't want to eat the dish anymore.
John immediately came up with an excuse, " Rick you don't have to fill it up anymore, the deliciousness of your daughter's cooking was already enough to make me full, with a single bowl of her stew."
Jeanne who heard this on the sidelines suddenly turned bright red. She was starting to get embarrassed at John's line."
Seeing Jeanne's reaction to John's words, Rick's face suddenly, created a weird expression and looked at them both.
Rick immediately gave a murderous glare at John and shouted, " Have you been asking my little girl out."
John felt fear seeing Rick's murderous eyes and answered Rick with a nervous and scared voice, " No, sir, I am a just complimenting your daughter's cooking."
Rick shouted, " Well complimenting a girl is how guys courted girls, that is how I got Jeanne's mother. I know-how men sweet talks girls so don't give me that bullshit."
A hard thing suddenly hit Rick's head, causing him to turn around and see his daughter holding a stick with an angry face.
Jeanne spoke after she got her father's attention, " You are embarrassing yourself in front of John, please dad act with a little maturity when in front of the dinner table. "
" Okay, I will be doing what you asked me. But could you stop hitting me with that stick every time you get angry?"
Jeanne facepalm after seeing his father act so immature.
They continued to eat dinner after that, John immediately used this silence to ask Rick of lending him a horse and a weapon.
John spoke to Rick, " Excuse me, Rick, could I ask you for a favor."
Rick who was enjoying his stew replied, " Go on, what is it, I am listening but make it quick."
After seeing that he has caught Rick's attention he immediately told him what was the favor he wanted to ask.
" Rick, I would like to borrow a horse and some weapons, I promise I will pay you back double the price. "
Rick stopped eating his food after hearing John's request. Rick immediately looks at John with another murderous glare. Rick then started to speak while releasing a murderous aura.
" So you are leaving the village because you might have already planted your seed to my daughter and you are trying to escape that. How could you be so irresponsible as my future son in law?"
John suddenly had a confused face and shouted, " What do you mean son in law! How did you even get that impression about me!?"
Rick, " Well says the guy that gets lovey-dovey with my daughter for the past few days. "
John, " Wait a minute. "
Rick didn't listen to John and continued, " Oh you thought I haven't noticed that you can't fool this old man."
Whack! Whack! Whack! Whack! Whack! Whack!
" Dad! that is enough, nothing is going on between us so don't traumatize John any further. You should also listen to John's reason why he is asking, and not let your opinion about John decide. "
Rick looked with a puppy face expression at Jeanne and spoke, " Well, I am only worried about my daughter's love life, I am also worried that my daughter won't get married, and most importantly I won't have any grandchildren. "
John after hearing this started to feel sorry for Rick. He knew that Rick really wants to have a grandchild and see the day that someone can take good care of his daughter.
Jeanne immediately forced her father to say sorry to John. Rick didn't want to say sorry but he was scared of getting whacked by his daughter again.
John accepted Rick's apology and continued to ask Rick about the favor.
Rick spoke to John, " Fine I will let you borrow a horse and weapon, but please bring back the horse as we really need the horse in transportation. Our village is already poor and we can't afford to lose any more assets, especially the winter is coming in just a few months. "
John made a crossed sign in his chest and lifted his hand like a person speaking an oath, " I John Richard promise to pay the favor that the Village of Artin, I promise this in front of the village chief Sir Rick Higgins and this oath is witnessed by the village chief's daughter Jeanne Higgins. "

John seeing the father and daughter bonding of Rick and Jeanne, he felt jealousy. John has never known how to have a father and mother. John's parents were already dead when he was still a baby, he was only taken cared for by his grandfather.
John smiled at the duo of this father and daughter time. Jeanne and Rick look at John who was smiling. Rick then asked John with a serious face.
" What is so funny, why are you smiling like that, you are creeping me out."
After a few minutes, Rick has finished eating dinner. John has already told Rick that he will need the horse and weapon tomorrow at sunrise.
John has already asked Rick about the location where the castle he saw when he arrived in this country (world) was found. It was a good thing Rick knew where the castle was and gave John the direction.
John knew that it was the castle because Rick told him that the castle was infested with goblins.
When John asked about the castle Rick had a weird look at John. John knew that saying he was from another world and arrived near the castle might cause trouble so he lied about bandits leaving him there, after stealing his money. This lie was immediately believed by Rick, as bandits were also lurking in that area.
John was also surprised to know that it might take three days to arrive there, and one and a half-day if he didn't stop.
John was slightly disappointed when he heard the estimated time of travel. It may be due to the fact that he thought that he could arrive with a horse within one day.
Roosters were already noisy and John has already woken up and has eaten breakfast. His breakfast was a leftover stew from last night's dinner. After eating breakfast he immediately went to the gate of the village where he was escorted by Jeanne.
As they got near the gate John noticed Rick with a horse and a short sword.
Rick immediately gave the short sword to John, and John immediately climbs up to ride the horse. John already knew how to ride a horse as he played polo a lot.
Jeanne also gave John a bag containing fruits, vegetables, and a water container.
Jon immediately spoke to the two, " Thank you for helping me, Rick and Jeanne. Also thank you for this bag and its contents Jeanne. Also, Rick, I promise I will pay you back in time, I will return here someday that's a promise. "
Rick acts like a tsundere, "It's not like that I like you, but you better be coming back. Because you still have to marry my daughter..."

Palau International Airport an Antonov just arrived at the airport. A familiar face can be seen it was Ryder along with some men.
A Mil Mi-17 helicopter also lands in the airport. Ryder immediately spoke to the team he assembled.
" Boys it looks like our ride has already arrived. "
Ryder and the other nineteen men followed him to the chopper. They also carried some crates to the chopper, as they got in they immediately opened the crates revealing weapons.
There were AKM's, HK416, RPG's, and PK machine guns. The helicopter lifted up and immediately went to the direction of the Island where John was.
The rescue team that rider created has 20 men Ryder included. The rescue team will be divided into five different groups, searching for different parts of the island.
A group will consist of one AKM user, a designated sniper equipped with SVD Dragunov, two HK416 one of them will be carrying the RPG and one PK machine gun user.
The five leaders of the group are the following
Ryder will be the commander of the Alpha group and will search the northern part of the island. Francis will be the commander of the bravo group and will search the eastern part of the island. Mark will be the commander of Charlie group and will search the western part of the island. Carlos will be the commander of the Delta group and will search the southern part of the Island. Victor will be the commander of the Echo group which will be the eyes in the sky with the helicopter.
These five are the commanders of the five groups that Ryder created for the Rescue team.
The helicopter just arrived at the island and was ready to drop the Alpha group, Ryder noticed another chopper below so he asked the pilot near that chopper.
The Alpha group immediately got out of the helicopter and immediately investigated the chopper. The helicopter they were riding in immediately left and went to drop the other groups to their target location.
Ryder went to investigate the chopper with his men. After a few minutes of investigation, Ryder was scratching his on about the chopper.
The chopper was left untouched, the supplies were still intact. Ryder immediately hypothesized that John and his guards were still on the island.
Ryder immediately gave his orders, " Ok you who's holding that AKM you will be in the front, you with the RPG we will be in the middle, and you two will be in our rear. Maintain a two-meter distance from each other, and make sure to check every corner of the place you can see.
Ryder was also wondering if the others have arrived at their drop off point. But it was too bad that communication devices don't work too well on the island. Ryder was also worried about his men as he was once a soldier in the past who have lost a lot of friends.
Ryder group proceeded slowly checking every nook and cranny of their search area. The machine gunner was in a relax mode carrying his gun in his shoulder. While the newbie who was carrying the was AKM nervous and pointed his gun in where he gazes.
