“What are you going to do now?” Anita asked through the phone. I was lying on my back while Anita and I talked over the phone. I heaved out a sharp breath. “I don’t know Anita. It’s suffocating to be in one place. I feel like I have no freedom again. I don’t even get to see the outside world if not for school. Dad wouldn’t even allow me to step out of the house. I’m always in my room. It's tiring. I know he’s angry but don’t you think it’s too much? Did I kill someone?” I vented out my frustration.
