I shut the door behind rushing to my bed. I didn't know what to feel anymore. The news shocked me to the core. It made me recall the picture of him and my Mom which I saw in his room the other day. I can't believe he loved my Mom and claimed to love me too. Were all his kindness and his softness towards me genuine and not because I reminded him of her?
I held my head with both my hands as a sharp pain visited my head. For the past few days, I hadn't been myself. I felt like the load of the world had been nestled upon my head.
