Episode 20

Vikram’s POV

    She slept hugging me tightly and I was not able to sleep. I am becoming restless thinking about her going away from me for a few days, how can I live without her for those many days. I got out of the bed and walked out of the room and called Nihal and asked, “I want to send Payal along with Survi, do you have any problem?”

    He just nodded as no.

    “Nihal, what happened about their tickets?” Did they get canceled?” I asked.

“The flight got canceled as the pilot resigned and the other pilot is not available,” he said and I looked at him suspiciously.

“No King, I didn’t do anything, but I am also trying to know exactly what happened, because I am also suspicious about the happenings?” he said.

I was thinking about something, suddenly I remembered Vishnu, but how can he do that? He is just 15 years old, I think I am overthinking about him, but what if that small brain has played something dangerous? I don’t want him to get into trouble at this small age.

Nihal, just keep an eye on Prince Vishnu, and update me about that pilot.

He looked at me confused and asked, “do you think Prince Vishnu can do that?”

I don’t know, but I feel as though he is trying to protect his sister, because for him she is the one who he believes as a family after his father.

“Okay king, I will send one of my people there,” he said.

I walked into my chamber and saw Chhavi was sleeping peacefully hugging the duvet, I became jealous with the way she was hugging the duvet, I pulled the duvet slowly and pulled her over me and closed my eyes.

In the morning, she came wearing a pant and I smiled looking at her and went near her and said, “curl your fingers into a tight fist,” and she did it without any argument and I took her near the punching bag and asked her to hit on it with all her force and she looked at me in shock.

“You can’t say no,” I said like a warning and she made a sad face like a small baby. She brought her lower lip forward.

“Chhavi, punch it now,” I said and she looked at the bag for some time and hit it hard on it and turned towards me and hugged me tightly.

“What happened?” I asked as she was crying and she said, “I thought my hand would not work any more.”

I smiled and broke the hug and said, “I think you can practice for two to three hours,” and she smiled and nodded her head as yes. I asked them to make it with a sponge so that she won’t get hurt. I can’t see my queen getting hurt though.

I left her with Payal and Nihal and walked towards my chamber to get ready for my office, I have to take care of many things, first I have to see what Vishnu is up to and then I have to make sure that orphanage gets ready as soon as possible, I know Nihal can stop them in some or the other way, but Sarah can go to any extent to reach me sooner than later.

I have to reach Vishnu, but how? I can’t go there and he can’t come out. I did not understand how to contact him when I suddenly saw, Chhavi’s mobile was on the table and I took it in my hand, but I didn't know her password, I just unlocked it and luckily she didn’t keep any password.

I went into the call log and saw Vish’s number and went into call history and saw they spoke for one hour yesterday. What he is up to, he is trying to instigate Chhavi? But, I didn’t see any change in her behavior. I think I should call him.

I dialed his number and he answered the call in two rings and before I could say anything, he said, “hey sis, just don’t talk, listen to me, brother-in-law is a very nice person, he will never try to hurt you, just remember he loves you and you should love him more than him and always have faith in him, and remember that your brother will be always with you,” and before I could speak, I heard someone calling him and he disconnected the call.

He will always be with her, but in what way? How did he contact the pilot and how did he convince him to resign? I have to get those answers before others reach for those answers.

I called someone and asked him to get in contact with that pilot and update me soon and disconnected the call.

I became busy with my meetings and suddenly my mobile started ringing and I saw the number and felt as though I saw this number somewhere and answered the call.

“Hello, I am Vishnu, Sarah came to know about the pilot and she is looking for other alternatives, I can’t stop her this time in any way,” he said in one go and disconnected the call and I looked at my mobile trying to process what he just said.

I postponed the meeting and called Nihal and said, “make sure Vishnu’s name should not come out in any of the enquiries.” 

I went to the orphanage and saw the building was almost ready, just some patch work left and it can be done within one day. I am really happy with their work.

When I reached the palace, I got a call from mom and I answered the call and walked towards the study room.

“Vikram, somebody is trying to stop us from reaching you, but don’t worry Sarah is making arrangements for our return, we will return soon,” she said.

“Mom, take care of yourselves, I will arrange the tickets, don’t take alternative ways,” I said, but she cut me off and said, “Sarah is there to take care of everything, you just relax, we will come soon,” and disconnected the call.

This girl has the guts to use my mother against me, she can be very dangerous. I was just thinking about saving Chhavi, but now I have to save myself and my mother as well.

I was looking at my mobile and walking to my chamber when someone came and hugged me tightly. I was not able to see who it was because I was busy on my mobile and the voice said, “thank you for everything, you are an angel,” and I know whose voice it was. 

“Who brought you here? Did you take your dad’s permission?” I asked sternly as I was still concerned about him and didn't want to throw him in any danger.

“She has already manipulated dad and made him against Chhavi, but I will take care of dad, please take care of my sister,” he pleaded.

“I think you should leave now,” I said.

He looked here and there and put something in my pocket and ran towards my chamber. I don’t understand his habit of putting something in my hand or pocket.

I walked towards my chamber and saw both were talking and Chhavi smiled looking at me and her brother came to me running and said, “I am leaving and please don’t tell anybody that I came here,” and ran out of the chamber.

Chhavi came near me and said, “please don’t tell dad that he came here, he might punish him.”

“For that you have to listen to me tomorrow,” I said walking towards the washroom.

“I will do whatever you say,” she said without thinking and I turned and looked at her suspiciously.

“Actually, I don’t want him to get hurt because of me, he loves me and he was missing me, so he came to visit me without dad’s permission,” she said lowering her head.

“Okay, then be ready for tomorrow, I want to see to what extent you can go to save your brother,” I said and walked into the washroom and thought, “all three are crazy people, two want to protect each other, and one is planning to destroy everything, have to see who will win.”
