NIKOLAS planned the meeting with his parents the day before his eighteenth birthday. We were to go to the packhouse and have dinner with his parents.
When I told my mom where I was going that day, she looked extremely worried. I know that she doesn't want to stop me from going where I wanted to go despite the fact that she has reservations about my meeting my boyfriend's parents. She kept asking me if I was sure about what I wanted to do, and every time, I assure her that I am sure.
I've never had a boyfriend before so I don't really know the rule when it comes to meeting parents. Based on what I've heard and seen (mostly in movies), couples usually meet each other's parents when their relationship gets serious enough.
