LAUREEN'S POV
I walked into the company, almost dragging Tristan along as I ignored his last comment.
“That is very ridiculous, you know.” I refused to let him look at my face because I wasn't sure what emotion he would see. Whatever it was, I didn't want him to find anything of interest.
“Hold up! Why are you in such a rush?” Tristan asked trailing behind me as we walked in.
“Nothing! I just want to finally see where you've been hiding all your life.” I responded as I kept walking in.
" This way, Mrs Rhyde!” I suddenly heard Tristan say as he stood afar off smiling at me.
I stopped in my tracks and turned back to realize that I had been walking on my own and he had stopped a few meters behind me. I sighed in frustration and he smiled at me.
" I'm sorry! I was trying to tell you.” H
