LAUREEN'S POV
I woke up very quietly to the sound of someone tapping on my window. I could hear my head banging as I slowly regained consciousness.
Why was my bed so hard? I tried to turn but there was an obstruction and my position was weird.
I opened my eyes and realized everywhere was a bit dark. I had fallen asleep on my reading table after trying so much to sleep and it refused to come.
After I had cried to my satisfaction when I received my mom's voice message, I had come to my room and tried sleeping but there was no sleep for me as my troubled heart was against me.
I then decided to check on my emails and realized I had missed a lot of information on the few days I was busy with the wedding preparations. So, I began responding to them one after the other and I must've slept of
