LAUREEN'S POV
It was evening already, and I sat with Mrs Treasure revisiting my childhood and laughing loudly as my mom listened quietly with a smile on her face. Mrs Treasure kept teasing me about my very reserved nature and how I refused to even be seen by visitors. Meanwhile, everyone knew my sister and hardly believed we were twins.
She even recounted an incident where I had worn a mask to school so that no one would actually see that we were twins. Just as we were laughing loudly, my phone rang, and I turned to see Lyssa's name on the caller screen.
Why was she calling me? She was supposed to be here by now as she usually was. Except she wasn't coming today and had prior engagements.
