We all got into the back of the rover and went on the way to the royal pack. I could feel Damien burning holes at the back of my head. I couldnt help but blush.
God is this the mate bond?
Could it be that he is my mate?
NO. He cant be. I dont want to hurt my own best friend by rejecting him. Goddess please dont make Damien my mate. He deserves so much better.
UGH why is this so hard.
Damien POV
Fuck Storm looked amazing. I mean she looks amazing in anything. But she looked sooo good today. I cant believe in two weeks i can finally call this goddess in front of me mine. In two weeks on my 18th birthday im sure that my wold will claim her as his. She will finally be my mate. I can finally claim, mate and mark her. I couldn't wait!
Jake(Damien wolf)- She may not be our mate Damien
NO of course she is. I have never felt like this before. Im strong, rich, hot and come from a good family. I deserve a mate like Storm and she a mate like me.
Jake- Im just saying Damien keep your mind open. I dont think she is our mate.

Jake- Whatever.
I looked in front of me at Storm. 2 more weeks Baby and me and you can finally be together. 2 More weeks. I thought smiling.
We just have to get through this wretched ball first.
Storm POV
We reached the royal castle in an hour. It was truly a sight to behold. It was beautiful and massive. I got down with the help of Damien. Elijah and Adonis had already made there way to a group of she wolves that were eyeing them seductively.
"God i cant wait till this is over D"
"Me to storm...after this in two weeks i can finally call you mine"
I sighed...god he was adamant.
"D....i might not be your mate."
"NO dont say that you ARE my mate" Damien huffed
I sighed and nodded to tired to argue "Lets go to the main room...the balls about to start"
Damien nodded and offered me his arm i gladly took it.
Now i just had to get through this stupid thing without surprises and we can all go home again.
