Meeting Ann's Family

Joel never liked Elder Eli although he knew Elder Eli was among their cabinet member and also friend with his late brother, but he had never suspected Elder Eli to be different.

Although he had never seen Elder Eli with late Mrs Grace Maverick before so that never raised his suspicion. Seeing the young man long hair sparkling black, he asked him, "Which Elder Eli are you talking about, from where?."

"Greshood village" Jason replied calmly and Joel sighed. He hadn't visited there before but he thought to visit the village someday.

"Is alright. Alex!."

"Yes, your majesty" Alex replied.

"Release the handcuffs. They're not a suspect" Joel spoked even though deep in his mind, he knew they were and he continued to stared to them while Jason smirked.

"It's been long I last visited here with my father. Then the ruler and his wife were still alive" Jason spoked sadly wanting to sound familiar and Joel nodded.

"That's right. Is been long I meet with your father too. After the dismissed of my late brother, we haven't seen him, I hope he's alright. I planned to visit Greshood village, but thinking about the distance from the city, I haven't still had the chance too."

"Is well your majesty" Jason spoked with courtesy while Joel relaxed as he liked how Jason called him 'your majesty' and he decided not to worry about Jason been suspicious as he knew how kind and supporting Elder Eli was with his rare advice in building their kingdom and he was still looking forward to meeting with the elderly man again.

"You're welcome to our palace. Alex!" Joel called, feeling like a king already.

"Yes your majesty."

"Dismiss the crowd gathered" Joel commanded and he turned to Jason and Tyler whom had a calm expression on their faces.

"You're welcome to our noble home, let's go in."

Elder Juda stood aside and he continued to stared to Jason and Tyler as Joel abandoned their conversation and rather picked on the two total looking strangers, and he felt jealous and angered that Joel would just ditched him like he never exited and focused on their guest while Joel took Jason and Tyler into the first grand hall of the mighty mansion.

"You're welcome once again. Here are my family. My late brother's son and daughter and my wife and children" Joel Introduced Mia and Samuel whom stood inside the grand hall to Jason and Mia smiled to Jason as she admired him.

Mia was still admiring her brother's long hair, knowing he was her brother and she couldn't fancy him much, she subtly wished for another man that looked like her brother, and seeing the dark looking guy staring to her, she immediately fell for him, and spoked silently in her heart, "Wow, he's so handsome."

Jason heard her mind and he shifted his gazed to Ivy whom blushed at him too, and to Josiah whom smiled friendly to him, and Josiah even walked forward to him, surprising all of them whom stood away, and Josiah extended his right hand out to him for a handshake.

"Is an honor to meet you. When will you be joining the council meeting and what's your name?" Josiah asked Jason whom stared to his extended hand, as Jason didn't knew what handshake was all about.

Feeling a little embarrassed that the guest didn't accepted his hand Josiah smiled and withdrew his hand while Jason finally spoked.

"Am Jason Tristan. Nice to meet you Josiah."

"Nice to meet you too Jason" Josiah replied in relief while Joel spoked.

"Okay family, let's not go asking them much question. When will you be leaving, as I saw the guards misunderstood you and arrested you. You know there's a lot going on, so we've to be vigilant and careful."

"I know" Jason replied and he can still see Mia smiling to him and actually discussing with her brother.

"He's so handsome brother."

"Hmm.." Samuel stared to him with narrowed eyes and spoked in his mind.

"No, he's not and you shouldn't admire him sis. He looks weird, Come let's go." Samuel dragged Mia forcefully to follow him away and they walked thru the stairs while Joel spoked to Jason..

"Oh, I see you're staring at my neice."

"No Sir" Jason replied with a smile.

"I was just admiring the interior decorations of your mansion" Jason replied.

"Oh, how kind of you. But I wouldn't mind given Mia out to you, if that's why you're here" Joel spoked while his wife frowned at him as he was ready to give his niece out to a total wierd looking stranger, while Josiah quickly refused.

"No father!. You cannot give Mia out to him."

Jason stared to Josiah in silence and he didn't want to read meaning to Josiah been protective of his cousin sister and he quickly replied, "No sir. Thank you, but that's not why we were here. The guards misunderstood us, so we will like to leave."

"Wow, so quick. Is alright. I was only asking to know if you're interested in her, but is alright. But you can stay till tomorrow as it's already getting late and the city gate will soon be shut by 6pm" Joel spoked and Jason hummed.

Jason didn't wanted to stayed as he didn't trusted his sister and more likely, he didn't also trusted the kind man in front of him and he saw Tyler refusal.

"Probably next time Sir. We've to leave for home, so our family wouldn't be worrying about us too" Jason replied calmly.

"But the Greshood village is farther away from us, and with the existence of some werewolves, I think is more best you stay. Tomorrow morning you can leave and return back home safely."

Jason didn't wanted to argue or raised any more suspicion and he agreed.

"Alright, we will stay."

"Guards!" Joel called and two hefty guards stepped out.

"Yes your majesty!."

"Show then to their room" Joel spoked.

"Okay your majesty."

Tyler frowned as he hadn't planned to stayed in the humans city. He liked transforming at night and now he wouldn't as he would've to stay in his human form so as not to raise any suspicion.

Jason was calm as the guards took them to the east wing of the mansion and showed them to a large room used as guest room and as soon as the guards left, Tyler immediately complained.

"Why will you agree for us to stay, we need to.."

"Shut up Tyler!. What if they're lurking around and spying on us?. Better kept shut and enjoy the comfort" Jason shut Tyler up and Tyler saw two guards passed behind the windows.

"Hmm.." Tyler's fist clenched and he decided to trust Jason once, even though is because of Ava, whom he loved and was also his mate. He relaxed and decided to sat on the couch in the guest room, as he and Jason had to shared a single large room together, while jason walked to the bed and laid on top of it.

Mrs Ella immediately walked up to her husband.

"How can you be so shameless to want to give out Mia to that strange looking man?. Would you have given Ivy out to him instead?."

"Yes mother, I will have accepted him" Ivy immediately chipped in smiling while her mother stared to her with narrowed eyes unbelievably.

"They're strange looking Ivy, how can you be so blind not to see that?" Ella questioned but Ivy frowned and rather walked up to meet her father.

"Father, you should have courted me with him instead, not Mia. Mia is young and beside Josiah likes her" Ivy spoked as she walked up to meet her father, but Mr Joel quickly frowned.

"No!. Your mother is right. They're strange looking indeed, the more reason Mia can be courted with him as Mia looked like them and that's her mother's village, even though I haven't been there" Mr Joel spoked and Ivy screamed.

"No father!, Mia cannot have him, beside he doesn't want Mia."

"Ivy.." Joel frowned and Josiah supported her.

"Father Ivy is right and Mia isn't available for him. You can speak to him about Ivy next time or I'll" Josiah replied.

"No you wouldn't. And don't dare to speak to him about your sister. I don't think he came here for any of them, I only suggested Mia to him as I saw the way he stared to Mia with a looked of glint in his eyes like he admired her, that was why I spoked about Mia. Enough of these conversations, Where's Samuel and Mia?" Mr Joel asked and his two children frowned at him.

"Ivy, do you mean to tell me you don't find that young man looking strange with his long hair and green eyes?" Mrs Ella asked.

"No mother!, I don't!" Ivy sobbed and she immediately ran away going upstairs to her chamber that was opposite and across to Mia's and Mrs Ella sighed, but Josiah breathed out in relief, glad his cousin sister wasn't given out to the black looking handsome guy.
