The Council Meeting

Ann woke up the same morning after Jason had kept the extra meal and left and she stretched on the bed and sat up.

She stared around the big room that was little bright making her to knew that the sun was out and burning seriously as there were little spaces illuminating light thru the window and some opening on the wall near the ceiling.

Ann stepped down from the bed, remembering what had happened between her and Jason the previous night and she yawned and frowned.

Walking to her bathroom to ease herself, she stepped out and walked back to her room door to unlock it.

Jason hadn't unlocked her chained yet the previous night and her hands were still having the shackles around her wrist.

She walked to his room carefully, not to make any noise as the iron chained around her wrist made noses while she walked.

Arriving his room Ann found out Jason wasn't in there and she scented the delicious meal covered, making her to walked closer to the meal and opened it and she quickly sat down on his bed and ate the meal.

"His bed scented of him" Ann murmured as she shove a huge cut of the roasted Yam into her mouth and she ate it sweetly.

"Wow, his mom really knew how to cook, but is she a wolf like him?" Ann asked herself as she continued eating the breakfast sweetly.

Ann kept on remembering how his hot mouth had sucked her n*pples and her bre*sts were still aching to have him touched her there again.

"He's a beast. An animal and is best I stop thinking about him" Ann spoked to herself and she nearly got choked on the peppery sauce, so she walked to the jug of water and poured it out into a cup and she drank from it.

Touring his room a little more, while she ate her breakfast, Ann sat on his bed and as she had eaten so much yam with tomato peppery sauce, her stomach hurted and she laid on his bed to rested a little, but as his mattress was warm and fluffy like an animal hairy skin, she fell asleep sleeping on his bed.

Jason arrived Gold city kingdom and he entered into the car that immediately drove him straight to the palace..

He saw a lot of young, old and matured ladies staring to him and their scents were realing drawing his nostrils but he had to comply with his father's instructions and not his wolf instinct.

He walked straight to the palace gate as the council meeting was built inside of the Gold city palace. It was a conjoined building and sometimes the first grand hall of the ruler's mansion was used for the meeting.

Mia stood at the balcony on the second floor where her room was, staring to the least of men that was walking into the palace for the council meeting and her eyes fell on Jason.

"He looks so handsome" Mia said as she gushed over him, while Jason stared up to her direction and his eyes meet hers.

"Hi.." Mia said in her mind and Jason stared away from her, not wanting to replied her gushing mind.

Mia continued to admired Jason as the stationed guards around the palace, directed him into the meeting hall, which was the meeting building and her smiles increases even as Jason.had left her viewed.

Mia hurriedly went downstairs to wait for the council meeting to be over as she wanted to speak to Jason and tell him her mind that she likes him, even though he didn't liked her, she made up her mind to let him know that her heart yearned for him.

Jason walked into the meeting hall and was directed to took the next available seat as the meeting hall was dead silence and he strode to the seat and sat, while the next members walking in after him did same too, as they filled up the seats one by one, according to the time they had arrived.

The meeting started and the head in council read out the brief to them and the day the new coronation of the new crowned ruler will be held in Gold city palace.

Jason.sat quietly and he meet eyes with Samuel whom was also masculine like him, As Samuel sat farther across to him as they sat round on their various executive seats, facing eachother in the long hall.

Samuel didn't spoked in his mind, neither did Jason and Samuel shifted his gazed back to the head in council reading out their brief.

Jason listened attentively and after the meeting ended, he discovered the coronation would be held in three months time and a new ruler would took over the empty throne seat.

"The meeting has come to an end. Any report or brief about anything suspected to be strange, report it to the secretary before you exit the palace. We will look into the matter in the next upcoming meeting in two weeks time" Spoked the assistant head of council meeting and Jason stared away from the old men and stood up to leave as he saw the rest of the village chieves exiting the palace.

"Jason!" Mr Joel Maverick called to his attention and Jason paused and stared back into the meeting hall and he saw some chieves staring to him suspiciously as he looked so dark almost like charcoal, only he was handsome and got that charming smirk on his face.

"Good afternoon sir" Jason greeted as Mr Joel finally approached him with some chieves he assumed to be Joel's friends too.

"Elder Juda, we will discuss about our decision later. For now let's wait for the coronation day to arrive and for the chieves in council to decide on the pressing matters. You can leave" Spoked Joel.

"Okay Joel." Elder Juda left and he stared to Jason irritatedly, already knowing Joel planned on sending Mia away, and Joel also wanted to court Mia with Jason.

His son, Tony had told him that he likes Mia as she was a rightful princess, but he didn't wanted to brought the Topic to Joel, knowing that would angered Joel and ruined their plot of eliminating Samuel. So he had advised Tony to forgot about Mia, that she was already engaged, but it hasn't yet been officially announced.

"Walk with me Jason, let's head to the palace hall."

Jason silent followed Joel from behind and Josiah stared to Jason irritatedly seen how Mia was admiring Jason as he walked closer to their mansion, while most of the elders and chieves in council were exiting their mansion.

"Nice having you here with us. I actually thought you wouldn't visited as you know, Greshood village is rather far away from us" Spoked Joel.

"I know" Jason subtly replied and they walked into the living room while the guards blocked other chiefs from stepping in.

"Yes, how about your father?. You can have your seat" Joel spoked and Jason silently obeyed and sat down on the executive couch behind him while Joel did same across to him.

"What will you like to be offered?" Asked Joel and Jason shook his head

"Nothing, am fine. I need to start heading for home as I have a lot of works to do." Replied Jason as he saw Mia gushing over him.

Jason thought Mia looked so beautiful like their she-wolves but not beautiful enough to entice him as literally all the humans scent he was perceiving was awaking his beast and if they were at night, obviously they would've seen his eyes glowing.

"Wow!. So quick?" Elder Joel asked and Jason smiled to him.

"Yes. Maybe when next I return I cannot stay and have something to eat, but I need to be on my way now. You know how traveling thru the forest roads can be dangerous most especially at evening time" said Jason and Joel had to agreed on that even though he still suspected Jason to be different.

"Sure, you're right on that. There's no problem then. Only that I had a proposal for you" Joel teased and Jason stared to the elderly human seated across to him, with his deep greener eyes.

"What's that?" Jason asked and Joel smiled.

"There's no need to rush thing. Since you said you're already leaving. Probably next time when you visit us again and probably here for the council meeting, I will let you know what my proposal is all about."

"Okay" Jason spoked and he stood up to leave.

"Yes, thank you for your understanding, do send my warm regards to your father. Some day am hoping on seeing him again, Maybe when our families unite as one." Smirked Elder Joel.

"Hmm, Surely it will" Jason smirked in returned and Joell smiled happily and spoked, "Let me escort you off then and asked the guards to drive you home safely."

Just as Jason wanted to refused, Mia quickly ran out into the living room and spoked., "Let me escort him uncle!."

"Mia" Mrs Ella spoked and Mia frowned.

"Is alright, let her escort you, as I still have some works to do" Joel walked away and Mia happily ran up to meet Jason whom waited for her to caught up with him, but Ivy, Samuel and Josiah frowned as they all stood in the large living room too.
