Chapter 6: Midnight swim

“Maybe we should talk about it without rice wine” Akihiko said smiling
“Oh I never tell you! It is a secret!” Zoe said turning on her side.
“You will find I can be very persuasive” Akihiko said chuckling
“I can’t, he will find you and kill you like he did Mum and Dad” Zoe said sadly.
“Who Zoe? Tell me and I can protect you Zoe” Akihiko said urgently. But it was too late, she was fast asleep. It was only then that Akihko noticed Zoe’s phone kept buzzing. He picked it up and saw there was over 25 messages from an unknown number asking where she was. Akihiko frowned and put the phone in the draw so it would not disturb Zoe.
Akihiko walked back to the kitchen deep in thought.
“My Gods she is simply splendid Akihko! But why do you look down?” Ena said confused.
“She said she wants to see where are feelings lead us” Akihiko said
“That is wonderful! Please don’t tell me you are not going to because of Alannah?” Ena said
“Of course not! Like I care about another man’s wife!” Akihko snapped
“So what is the issue?” Ena said confused
“Someone is after her. The same someone who killed her parents” Akihiko said
“Ah so her parents were murdered, I did wonder when she said her parents past” Ena said sadly
“Well, I take it slow, but at least she admitted her feelings for me” Akihiko said.

Zoe had a very bad headache from to much rice wine. She had managed to get herself out of bed, showered and even eaten something before been driven to work.
“How about Dinner tonight?” Akihiko asked with a smile
“Sorry, no can do. My turn to lock up late” Zoe said trying not to groan at the thought.
“I will pick you up at closing time” Akihko said and Zoe felt too sick to argue. She nodded and got out of the car.
It had been a hard shift, but with coffee and paracetamol she managed it. She said goodbye to the last customer and started to put chairs on the tables. After she had finished locking up, Akihiko was there waiting by his car. Zoe felt her knees go weak as she noticed the toned muscles straining through his plain white shirt.
You need to get a grip and fast! You can’t afford to be distracted by men, not matter how God Dam Sexy they look! Zoe told herself furiously.
“Hello Zoe, how’s the head?” Akihiko said with a grin
“Nothing Caffeine and paracetamol can’t fix. You know you don’t have to drive me home, as sweet as it is” Zoe said.
“Well I was hoping you would want dinner again tonight?” Akihiko said with a hopeful smile.
“I won’t be much company I am afraid” Zoe said. Why was it so hard to think around this man? Zoe asked
“Oh I don’t think that is ever true. Come on, I take you back home” Akihiko said sounding deflated.
“Hey, why don’t we grab fish and chips and go to the beach. The moon is full and it is quite magical” Zoe said as she got into the car.
“Fish and Chips?” Akihiko asked
“It is an English thing that Dave does, it is really tasty. I sure you will love it!” Zoe said confidently.
“Dave?” Akihiko growled
“Yes Dave, the Bar-owner and my landlord. Why are you looking like that?” Zoe asked seeing Akihiko’S face frowning.
“Nothing, I just can’t figure him out” Akihiko lied. The truth was he was jealous at the thought of Zoe being in close contact with any other man.
“Oh he is harmless and really nice. Wait here and I grabbed some” Zoe said as Akihiko pulled up in front of the bar.
Zoe walked in and saw Dave.
“Zoe! It is good to see you as always pumpkin. What can I get you and where were you last night?” Dave said with a smile.
“Two fish and chips please and a lady never tells” Zoe said grinning.
“Two hey? Who is the lucky man?” Dave said
“Dave you are so nosey! If you must know it is Akihiko” Zoe said
“Akihiko?” Dave said frowning handing her two wrapped parcels.
“Yes” Zoe said confused. Dave was pretty easy going and tended to like everyone, yet he looked worried.
“Be careful Zoe, people are not always what they seem” Dave warned
“Thanks Dad!” Zoe said rolling her eyes
“I being serious!” Dave snapped shocking Zoe. Dave never snapped at her.
“OK, I will be” Zoe muttered as she turned and walked out of the bar. Dave growled in frustration when she left.
“Here we are! Two fish and chips as promised!” Zoe said cheerfully.
“Everything OK?” Akihiko asked noticing her smile did not quite reach her eyes.
“Of course, come on let’s go down to the beach! It is 5 minutes past my house” Zoe said leading the way. When they got down to the beach, the moon was high in the nighttime sky. They found a dry spot on the sand and sat down.
“Isn’t this amazing?!” Zoe said with a genuine smile as she handed Akihiko a parcel. They unwrapped their parcels and proceeded to tuck in.
“I have to admit this is a lot taster then it looks!” Akihiko said shocked.
“I know, right? This is my favourite treat and having a beach like this down the road is a dream” Zoe said
“So what shifts are you working tomorrow?” Akihiko said
“I am actually on holiday for the next two weeks. I need a break and had loads of holiday left over” Zoe said happily finishing off her meal.
“That is great news!” Akihiko said grinning. He started to plan all sorts of things in his head.
“Indeed and the first thing I going to do is go for a swim!” Zoe suddenly said taking off her shoes. She got up and started running whilst stripping down to her underwear.
“What, now?” Akihiko called out confused. He seemed to always been on his toes with this women. It excited him as well as it confusing him.
“Yes, now! Come on Akihiko, live a little” Zoe said running into the sea. She laughed as she felt the warm water on her body. The moon glistened on the water making it almost magical. Zoe dived under the water and came up again.
“You know it is not safe to swim after you just eaten” Akihiko said and Zoe turned. She gasped at what she saw, Akihiko was naked apart from his boxing shorts, allowing Zoe to get a good look at his extremely toned chest, arms and abs. Her eyes lingered on the dragon tattoo of eight heads.
“Yamata no OrochI? A interesting choice of tattoo” Zoe commented frowning. Yamata no OrochI was a evil dragon in Japanese culture, one that like to feast on the flesh of girls. Dave’s warning rang through her head.
“I had a rebellious stage. I am guessing the same for yours?” Akihiko said looking at her tattoo of a white rabbit with a Queen of hearts card on her hip. Zoe blushed at Akihiko’s stare.
“It is a reminder that is all” Zoe said
“Of what?” Akihiko asked interested
“To never be a fool to love again” Zoe said candidly.
“I see” Akihiko said softly as he moved closer. Zoe could feel her heart pump faster as she looked into his eyes.
“You really are a women of mystery. A women who is currently driving me crazy!” Akihiko said his voice thick with lust.
“Well, I am glad I could be of service!” Zoe said with a smile as she splashed Akihiko.
“If you think you going to get me that easy, you got another thing coming” Zoe said giggling and swimming away. Akihiko grinned and started to swim towards her. He easily caught her and they both laughed.
“I caught you little siren, now where is my reward?” Akihiko asked with a crooked smile.
“I suppose it is only fair!” Zoe said and she suddenly gently kissing Akihiko’s lips. Sparks flooded Akihiko’s body at Zoe’s gentle touch. He had felt nothing like this before, not even with Alannah. The need for Zoe welled up in him. He instinctively snaked his arms round her waist and pulled her closer when she broke off the short kissed.
“Zoe” he moaned as he he leaned in wanting more.
“This is not a good idea” Zoe murmured. But it was too late, his lips touched hers and her body took over. She moaned as he deepened the kiss. She put her legs round his waist and her arms round his neck. Akihiko slipped his tongue into her mouth, wanting more. There was a brief battle for dominance, but Zoe surrendered. Akihiko moaned as he teased Zoe’s mouth, the taste of her was making his c**k harden.
After several minutes, Akihiko broke the kiss off and they both stared at each other breathless.
“That was incredible” Zoe whispered . Her body was still dealing with her senses go haywire. She was no virgin, but that kiss was something else.
“Oh my little dragon, we just getting started” Akihiko with a smile that made Zoe weak at the knees.
