Chapter Nineteen
WHEN I was eight years old, I had a very bad dream. Hindi ko iyon makakalimutan. I dreamt I was inside a castle and I’m running off with Mamu, looking for Papu. Sa panaginip ko, kailangan naming tumalon ni Mamu gamit ang bintana sa palasyo dahil hinahabol kami ng mga royal guards. Mamu had me jump first but she never was able to jump next.
Which means I needed to run off alone. And that was a bad dream because I couldn’t imagine doing anything then without my mother.
What are the odds I’ll get to do the opposite eventually?
“Gano’n kalakas ang chemistry?”
