“Rioghail has been compromised,” I said, which made everyone gasp. “There is a mafia inside your mafia.”
“What the hell are you talking about?” Dangerous aura was all over Jyn and I can’t really blame him for having this kind of reaction.
He built Rioghail from scratch, all on his own. He developed this group and nurtured it. Everyone who works for this group was screened properly.
Kaya nga kahit ang mga spy ng Azaria Clan ay hindi nagawang makapasok dito para makakuha ng ebidensya laban sa kanila.
They have a strict code yet here I am, telling him that there are people in his group who betrayed him. Not just one of a handful, but a lot of people.
Huminga ako ng malalim. “Please look at the screen,” I said as I opened the screen and started flashing the images of the evidence that we got to prove that someone was operating inside Rioghail without his knowledge. “Hector once told me that Rioghail is one of the mafia that still has human morals. You never deal with lower class people and the weapons that your group develops were never put in the hands of the countries that will only use it to start a war.”
And a bunch of images and scanned documents flashed on the screen.
“But that was only happening here at Hexoria and in the Avenir Kingdom,” I said. “My guess is it is because you are based here and they never had a chance to deal with Chess at the Avenir Kingdom.”
“s**t!”
“Damn!”
“This is impossible!”
“It is insane…”
The image that I am showing to them comes from all over the world. Most of it was surveillance images in an active war zone between countries using the weapons that Rioghail made.
Kasama din doon ang mga dokumento na nagpapakita ang mga sandatang iyon ay authentic na gawa ng Rioghail. They even had purchase documents that were signed by the buyer and the seal of Rioghail, which is a crown with seven swords in it.
“Hindi lang ang transaksyon na ito ang inaalis ng mga taong iyon sa system niyo,” sabi ko. “Kasama na din doon ang mga balita na may kinalaman sa mga bansa kung saan nila binebenta ang mga sandata na nakukuha nila sa inyo. “Why…” Tumayo si Miracle at tumitig sa screen. Maging siya ay hindi makapaniwala sa nakikita doon. “Why didn’t we get this?” Bumaling siya sa akin. “I’m not affiliated with Rioghail so it is only natural that my squad would catch this kind of news. Or kahit ang mga Azaria man lang. They have been looking for things that they can use against Rioghail kaya sigurado akong hindi nila kakaligtaan ang bagay na ito.”
Bumuntong hininga ako at bumaling sa pinto na kakabukas lang.
Doon pumasok si Zaire na bakas man ang pagod ay nakuha pang ngumiti sa amin. “Let me answer that question of yours, Miracle Ryedale.”
“Zaire!”
Agad lumapit si Miracle dito at inalalayan siyang makaupo sa bakanteng upuan. “What the hell are you doing here?”
Huminga muna ng malalim si Zaire. “Well, sigurado naman na nabanggit na ni Asper kung bakit ako narito, hindi ba?”
Tumango sila.
“You were trying to get the weapon that my group developed from the underground auction,” ani Jyn.
“That was one of the reasons,” sabi nito. “The main reason why the king dispatched me here is because of what is happening right now in Hexoria Kingdom’s border.”
Kumunot ang lahat.
Tumingin ito sa akin at tumango kaya sinimulan ko nang ipakita sa lahat ng screen na nakapalibot sa amin ang kasalukuyang lagay ng teritoryo ng Hexoria Kingdom.
“Three weeks ago when the world government dispatched their troops to the border of Hexoria and stopped our force from getting out of our territory,” sabi ko. “Every country put their own force in every part of Hexoria’s border to ensure that none of our troops will get out of this territory.”
“What the hell is happening out there?”
“Miracle…” tawag ko sa kanya kaya agad siyang tumingin sa akin. “It was your clan who started the war in another country. The mafia inside Rioghail is supplying them with the weapons to leave Jyn away from their watch and your clan used those weapons to invade other countries.”
“f**k!”
Isang malaking balita talaga ang lahat ng ito.
Si Miracle na mayroong pinakamalaking intelligence network sa buong Hexoria at ang Rioghail na siyang nagmamay-ari ng mga makabagong teknolohiya na ginagamit sa mga sandatang iyon ay wala man lang kaalam-alam sa nangyayari sa labas.
And it is all because of the Azaria Clan trying to conceal everything.
The fleet outside the borders doesn’t have any plan to invade or attack the Hexoria Kingdom. Alam nila na mayroong mga miyembro ng mahahalagang pamilya ang naninirahan sa bansang ito kaya nag-iingat din sila sa mga ikinikilos nila.
Maliban pa doon, marami ding mafia boss ang narito at alam nila na hindi magiging maganda kung kakampi pa ang mga ito sa mga Azaria.
Hindi naman nila intensyon na putulin ang koneksyon ng Hexoria sa labas. They are still allowing commercial ships and planes to get in and out of the country. But they thoroughly inspect everything to ensure that the Azaria will never create further damage to other countries.
“Rajiv!” Jyn turned to his underbosses. “Pull out every Rioghail member and tell them to go home. Stop every transaction that they are doing and shut down our network.”
Iniabot ko kay Rajiv ang isang secured communication device. “You can use that to contact all of your members.” I turned my eyes back on Jyn. “The reason why I forced you to go here is because you are now in grave danger for being the Rioghail Boss.”
“She is not wrong about that, Caspian,” singit ni Zaire. “The world government wants to protect you since you are still part of the Avenir Royal Family but the underground government wanted to eliminate you because of all the weapons that your group supplied to the Azaria.”
“I would like you to stay here for a while,” I said. “This is the safest place in this country for now. Hayaan mong ang mga underboss mo ang umasikaso sa mafia lalo na’t hindi pa natin naa-identify kung sino ba sa grupo mo ang kalaban.”
“That is the best we can do for now, Boss,” ani Azure. “Kami na lang muna ang mag-aasikaso sa problema ng mafia. Kung iyong unang pag-iimbestiga niyo ay nasayang dahil nakikialam ka sa proseso. Kung makikita nila na wala kang ginagawa, mas makakakilos kami ng maayos.”
“Build your fortress here for a while,” ani Zaire. “Nakakainis man pero wala kang choice sa pagkakataong ito.”
For now, this is all the choices we have.
