“Here we are,” Renee sang with delight. Kalea looked outside the window and saw they stopped in front of a rather luxurious boutique. After learning that Empress had been locked away but with no clue as to how, Aimee told Kalea and Eddie to go about their day as usual, and she would find the solution. The only problem was they were under a time crunch. They needed to free Empress before Kalea’s coronation.
Benny opened Kalea’s door and gave her a hand as she hopped out. Kalea was never one to wear dresses, but she knew that this was inevitable, so she didn’t bother trying to fight it.
“Hey, mom?”
“What is it, darling?”
“I know I have to wear a dress for the ceremony, but I was wondering if it would be possible to wear a pair of shorts underneath.”
