Donnie
I looked at my phone with a smile. Kid free. A mom holiday of sorts. I thought it was weird her ex appeared out of nowhere, but I was not going to complain. I text her back and let her know if she is truly free, she could come over or I could come see her. She opted to come over and I told her I would pick her up after I was done at the gym. Luckily for me the day flew past and I was soon on my way to go pick her up.
I slid into my car and headed towards her building. I was a combination of nervous, scared and excited. I felt something special about her. Something I didn't want to mess up. I looked forward to talking with her, being around her and hearing from her. It's amazing the impact people can have on your life in such a short time.
