CHAPTER 10
Asbuth had finally convinced Vano’s brothers to get some rest. Lon wanted to argue when
Asbuth told them he had made arrangements for them to stay at the hotel next to the hospital. He promised to call if there were any changes. Casius refused to leave, but Asbuth at least got him to agree to go with him to the doctor’s lounge to lie down and at least try and nap. When they got closer to the room, Asbuth could hear mumbled whispers coming from the inside and they didn’t sound like either of his mates. Looking at Casius, he could see his dragon mate had heard the same.
Needing to know the situation, Asbuth had quietly turned the doorknob, prepared to defend his mates.
