Casius didn’t know what he was going to do if anything happened to Vano. They had been with him for Vano’s whole life. He was a brother to him and Lon, as well as Deja. After he and Lon were picked up by that gypsy family and their mother never returned, they remained with the family for all their lives and had to watch as one by one they all grew old and died. But, with each generation born, they had new family who would be with them.
