My alarm clock blared and I let out a groan, my head was pounding from the tears I had shed, one of my nostrils was blocked and I didn’t need a mirror to know that my eyes were swollen. I did not feel like going to school and I really did not want to face Jason. I reached over and tapped the snooze icon before I pulled the covers over my head and burrowed deeper into my bed.
