The atmosphere around school was much different than the usual one and this was because due to the exams. The parking lot was devoid of anyone loitering about, with the majority of the students packed in the school library.
Vermont High students played hard but they also studied hard... well most of them. Some depended on daddy and mommy's money to get them through school.
I waved goodbye to Adolfo and made my way into the school, the hallways were empty just like the parking lot. I knew the library would be filled up at this time, so I decided to find an empty class which was pretty easy, the school had more classrooms that were not in use than ones in use. I closed the door behind me and slid into a seat, opening my jottings and doing some last minute revision.
