I checked my phone for the one hundredth time waiting for Jason's reply as Adolfo drove us to the Town Hall where the event was going to take place. I let out a sigh, he was probably getting ready and had kept his phone somewhere.
I turned my attention to the view outside as we approached the venue. I could see several cars pulling up at the large building that resembled the White House, dropping off guests before driving off. I texted Janice.
A- Hey, are you guys here yet?
She replied immediately.
Jan- Yes, my parents are talking with some hot shot so I'm out here freezing my ass off, I wish I brought a coat.
I chuckled at her reply, already imagining the pout on her lips as she typed while giving the hotshot evil glares.
