Jax wakes up, smiling down at Melodie. This isn't going to be easy. With everything that she has gone through, she will always be waiting for him to walk. Even with that ring on her finger, she is still waiting.
He glances around the room. There is something he can do. Getting up, he walks downstairs. Opening the laptop, he begins looking. All they need is a venue. If he books the venue, then they have a date, and hopefully, that reassures her more.
He finds a location and calls, reserving the date for the wedding. He will tell her tonight while they are out, then hope it helps her feel more secure. The door to the kitchen opens, and Melodie walks in. She looks different this morning. He can see it.
"Would you like a coffee, baby?" Jax stands up as she sits down.
