"Is this the truth?" I asked Eric.Trevor's best friend.
"Yes Mr.Brown.Trev told us that he will be making a s*x tape without Angel's knowledge.They were in a relationship.They broke up quite a while ago." He said.
"Did you see the video?" I asked.
"No,he didn't let anyone see it.He just threatened you that he will release it.He isn't cruel Mr.Brown." He replied.
"Where is he anyways?" He asked.
"Oh I have taken care of him." I smirked as I walked back into the car.
He was telling the truth.Angel didn't make the s*x tape intentionally.It was a trap for her.
She even broke up with him when I told her to.She wasn't at the fault.It was all my misunderstanding.I didn't listen to her or believed her.I was the one who cheated on her.I called her a slut.
As I walked inside the house,I noticed Angel curled up on the sofa like a little Angel she was.
I walked closer to her and almost let out a sound because she looked so innocent and I've hurt her so much.
"Angel.'' I called her as she opened her eyes and squinted at the lights.
"Why are you sleeping here? It's so late.'' I said.
"Why do you care?'' She asked and let out a yawn.She began to walk upstairs to her room,swaying her hips.
"Angel!" I ran towards her and grabbed her wrists.
"What?" She frowned.
"I didn't mean it." I said.
"What?'' She asked.
"You know." I replied.
"You called me a slut.I don't know if there is anything more insulting to hear from the lips of the man you love.'' She said.
"I was angry.Any father would've been.The only difference is that I couldn't control myself." I whispered.
"You're terrible human." She said and tried to walk away again.
"Leave my hand.'' She said.
"I apologize,Angel!" I said.She stopped struggling and looked at me.
"You apologize? You left me for a f*****g week and I don't even know what you did there.Fucked whores, enjoyed a whole week with a dozen of hot chicks.Well,guess what? I don't give a fuck." She yelled.How can a person be this much hot-headed?
I sighed and pulled her to my chest.
"Calm down,love." I whispered and stroke her hair as she kept on struggling to get away.I held her tightly until she didn't calm down.
"We should work on that mouth, alright?" I said and cupped her little face.
"I hate you." She said.
"Sure, you can hate me." I said.
"I saw you f*****g another woman just before my eyes and I did nothing.I accepted your apology without saying anything but you didn't even listen to me." She said.
"I know.I am sorry." I said.
"I don't know.Do you think that everytime you will come to me and say sorry and then I will forgive you? You need to work on that mouth of yours before me!" She yelled.
"Tell me.I will do anything.Just forgive me." I grabbed her tightly.
"Leave me the f**k alone." She said.
"Except for that." I said.
"Please don't bother me.I am so tired." She said.
"Let's talk like adults.I am tired of this too.Please don't keep on getting mad." I said and pulled her closer.
"I don't want to talk to you." She said calmly.I pulled her inside my room and locked the door.I made her sit on the bed and I knelt down in front of her.I put my hand above hers.
"I...came to know the truth.I came to know that you didn't cheat on me and your ex boyfriend sent me the video just to threaten me." I whispered with my eyes on her hands.
Cold as the ice.
"I love you a lot." I added and looked into her eyes.
"What did you do to him?" She asked.
"I...have taken care of him for threatening me and using you." I replied.
"What did you do?" She asked.
"Let it be in the past." I replied.To my surprise,she didn't question any further.
"But you did call me a slut.I never knew that I meant so little to you." She whispered and squeezed my hands.
"I didn't mean it." I said.
"You did." She said.
"I was angry.I wasn't myself." I whispered.
"When people are angry,they say things they never could.They say the bitter truth." She whispered.
"Are you out of your mind? You are my daughter.You are the only person in my life.Why would I ever mean that?" I asked and sat beside her.
"I am sorry.I never meant to say it to you.You are the most perfect human being,Angel." I said.
"Did you have s*x with anyone while you went away?" She asked.
"No,baby of course not.Daddy was just angry.I am so sorry baby girl." I said.
"You still slapped me.You promised me you wouldn't." She said.I loved how she was calming down by each second.
"I know I have done so many mistakes.You know what? You are actually right.I don't deserve you.I never deserved you in the first place." I stood up and lit a cigarette as I walked towards the balcony.
"And if I leave the room right now.How many cigarettes will you smoke?" She asked.
I turned my head to see her.This was the Angel I wanted.
She came closer and snatched the cigarette away from me before throwing it away from the balcony.
"You promised to quit smoking.You promised so many things yet you couldn't keep one." She said.
"But tonight I promise you something..." She said and held my hands tightly.
"I promise that I will never leave you no matter how bad things are between us and I promise to respect you.I promise to give you the respect you deserve and in return,all I want from you is to keep your promises.It's about your health.Don't compromise on it.I won't be able to live if something happens to you." She said and turned around to leave.
"Good night." She whispered.
Angel POV
As I was about to leave,he pulled my hands and captured my lips.Before I could process anything.He carried me to his bedroom and pushed me on the bed.Without breaking the kiss,he opened the shirt he was wearing.
His masculine body came in my view.I desired to eat him up in one go.
Soon enough,he removed the tank top from my body.His fingers danced on my skin until it reached the hook of my bra and slowly unhooked it.
