Saving Ms. Ex-Princess

Avenir is a small monarch country located in the northern east of Japan. It has six regions, Royal, Svart, Rod, Bla, Gron and Brun, and is currently led by King Leaster of House Avenir.

According to the history of our country, it is part of the Japanese Empire and no one dares to live here because it is too far from their main land. That’s why they put it on sale and Xermin Clan bought it.

Xermin trusted the Avenir to lead the country because this family already had enough experience in politics. Then, they started to invite everyone in the whole world who wants to live in this country.

Though it is not that easy to establish a new country especially since they still have to get the permission of Japanese emperor to separate that area and establish a brand new country.

But because Avenir is really good at politics and they have the support of Xermin that is known for being the richest clan in the world, they manage to win the battle and finally declare the independence and birth of Kingdom of Avenir.

And now, I am currently facing the 3rd leader and currently king of our country, Leaster Avenir, because of the mission that Li San was talking about.

She didn’t give me any information regarding that because she said that it will be a confidential mission so I had to wait until I met our client.

And to be honest, I was shocked when Sir Goerge brought me here, at the Avenir Palace where the royal family of our country lives.

“I am sorry for making this request too urgent, Sir Goege,” the king said. “And I am sorry for putting you in this kind of danger.”

“I understand your situation, your majesty,” Sir Goerge said.

We are currently inside a conference room and the king was the only person who faced us so I am guessing that the mission that they are talking about is kind of personal so he can’t really use his own force to do this mission.

“But are you really sure that Princess Leana is in the hands of Vitale.” Sir George asked. “It is not that I don’t trust your intel but Vitale doesn’t do any of their transactions here in Avenir. They had an agreement with Jin Shiraishi.”

Vitale is a dangerous mafia group that is known for selling smuggled weapon and human trafficking. And their transactions are banned in this country because of Jin Shiraishi who leads a group that controls all of the mafia and gangster groups’ legal and illegal transactions around the country.

But of course, a personal visit is not included in that ban so there is no reason for everyone to become hostile with them.

And now, he became a suspect for k********g the youngest sister of our king, Leana Avenir.

“I know about that agreement.” The king sighed and gave us a folder that we immediately opened. “But we have all the evidence that he took Leana away from the country against her will.”

It is clear with the CCTV shots they got that Kira, the leader of Vitale, put Princess Leana to sleep and left the country. It is clear evidence that he did kidnap the princess because it was against her will.”

Though I also saw some of the pictures where the princess voluntarily joins Kira for dinner and it happens not only once. They are together for the whole week and there is no sign that the princess is being forced.

“I would like to have a word, King Leaster.” I said that made them look at me. I took those pictures and showed them to him. “This is not the face of someone who is forced so I don’t understand the situation here. Please tell me everything I need to know so I can save your sister.”

He didn’t answer my questions. He just stared at me as if he was reading my whole identity. As if he is still thinking if he can trust me.

I sighed and put the pictures down. “Let me get it straight, your majesty.” I said, “You are the one who needs our help and keeping me away from all the information that I need might affect my mission to save your sister so I am asking for your cooperation.”

Well, if we really want it, we could get all the information we need with the help of Li San but this is a personal request straight from the leader of our country so we have to let him tell us everything.

We need him to fully trust me so that I will get his full support when I start saving his sister. With that thing in mind, I can do whatever I want without worrying about anything.

He sighed and nodded. “Okay. I understand.”

I secretly smiled. I guess, I still know how to persuade someone.

“Last year, Leana was accused of betraying the country for leaking some military information and all of the evidence was pointed at her.” he started. “So, the council found her guilty, stripped off her title and exiled her from the palace.”

“So, she is an ex-princess.” That’s why the king can’t use his private squad or even the other groups that are connected to their family.

“And recently, I found out that she was just framed by my secretary,” he continued. “But I am still lacking evidence because she was seen having a meeting with different military officers from the other country so I can’t bring her back her title as a princess yet.”

I scratched my head upon hearing all of that information.

Leana is an ex-princess. That's why the king can’t use his own army to save his sister. He can’t also give me all the support that I will need.

“Then, saving Miss Ex-princess is not that easy since I have to do everything on my own.”
