Chapter 10
Megan pulled into the private drive of her client, Carol Bloomquest, and parked her car. She looked over at the two companions with her, giving an encouraging smile.
“Everyone ready? Sammy?”
Sammy and Aiden nodded, and each opened their door to get out. The cool evening breeze kept the mosquitoes away from their exposed skin and filled the air with the scent of exotic flowers from Carol’s garden, designed for her by Megan. She waited for the two of them to follow her, and then led the way across the manicured lawns to the private path that would take them to the preserve and the old railway stop.
