ABIGAIL'S POV The local shopping center was probably the closest thing we had to a mall here. A place where you could ride horses and stay in cabins. The buildings were made to look like an old Western ghost town, painted in multiple bright colors. John walked beside me, taking in the shops and people. The long wood porch that ran across the front of the shops and kept them connected echoed beneath everyone's feet, and fresh flowers were planted in boxed planters along the railings. I wasn't expecting him to be enjoying himself shopping, but he seemed to be. I wrapped my arm around his as we wandered through.
