Scarlett Winters

I moved fast to the living hall by jumping off two steps at a time in the stairs, where I can smell him clearly. I reached the living hall to see my father looking at Adam intense, I turned to look at Adam who was calm as sea like always, he and his nerves, how could he be calm at this moment. My dad will thrash him if he didn’t move from here. I looked at him, wooow, I love his guts, but what, I couldn't open my mouth since my father seeing me and Adam. I looked at my Adam, at last he is here, my wolf was screaming in high pitch, she needs to shout out of extreme happiness. I controlled myself moving near him. I looked at him and my father, trying to me normal.

“ Hey Letty, you look beautiful”, Adam said out of blue, I looked at him shocked, what is he real, I tried to hide my beet red face, I blushed looking Adam, I could hear my dad growl. Not now, control yourself Scarlett. I looked at Adam and my dad, I could see Adam smiling from the corner of my eyes, jerk.

“ I think you people should leave”, our pack beta suggested to Adam, “ No, I’m not going anywhere”, Adam looked at me and my dad. Oh god, Adam, I looked at my dad, what's gonna happen

“ What?”, “ What?”, everyone murmured around me, my dad looked at him and me piercing through our eyes , I turned to see guards and some pack members looking at Adam. What a day. This is the best and worst day of my life, the best is, he is making me love him more, yes, of course, who doesn't love him now, and who has guts to speak with my dad like this, the worst is my dad is not accepting him, my thoughts were cut by Adam’s voice, “ I can’t live without her and I want her all my life”, Oh my god, oh my god, is he for real, “ Scar, he is cool and so crazy about you”, Jenni whispered in my ears, I nodded at her, looking at his eyes, he smiled at me, I pinched myself to see whether everything happening is real, s**t, it pains, “ It’s happening really Scar”, Jenni whispered in my ears trying to hide her shock, Adam winked at me, oh my god, he is crazy and insane.

How could he?, everything is happening so fast, my wolf was jumping and screaming inside me, I could tell she wants Adam now, even me, I want to hug him and kiss him hard on his lips, " She is not coming with you", my dad growled looking at me.

I looked at my father who was staring at Adam and Mike, “ Dad, you should know we are mates”, he looked at me and threw daggers at me, “ Scarlett, this is not going to happen, I think, coz of him you have been chased that day”, my dad snapped at me, he continued looking at Adam, “ This vampire knows him and they are planning something behind us”.

“ Yes and No”, Adam said firmly, we all turned to look at Adam for answer, what does he mean by that, I looked at him confused,“ Yes, I know him very well and No, we are not planning anything coz I thought he was dead”, Adam looked at my father. Adam knows him, well I guessed it before. But how could I convince my dad now.

“ But I don’t believe you, why should I?, You people are planning something against us and you are baiting Scarlett’s life”, he growled at Adam, “ No, I’m not baiting her life, I didn’t even know he is alive until that day he chased Letty and I suppose you both have a history together already”, he snapped at my father.

“ No, in all my life, I haven’t seen him”, my dad hissed at him, “ Dad, but he told you?, he knows you, how could that be?”, I looked straight in to my dad’s eyes.

“ I don’t remember him, he is planning everything Scarlett, don’t believe him”, my dad was really telling the truth but how did Riley know him, well something is missing, “ Dad, I believe in Adam, it doesn’t mean I don’t agree with you, but he is my love”, I looked at him firmly.

“ I will never agree to this Scarlett, I think Adam is behind this”, he snapped at me, “ Dad, that’s enough, how long are you gonna keep me like this, my wolf and myself will die without him, I want him, I want his smell, I can’t live without him and Adam has nothing to do with it, he will save me from him dad, I trust him”, I shouted at him with tears, “ Letty, you are not going to die, we will live forever, don’t ever say anything like that", he tried to move near me, my dad stood in between us and looked at him, " Why should I trust you?, you are a vampire", my dad repeated the same and looked at Adam.

" I don't want you to trust me, but do you trust your daughter?, she choose me and I'm her mate", Adam said confidently looking at my father. My dad growled at him, " I'm not gonna fall for your words", my dad was about to fight with him, " Dad, could you please stop this?", I snapped at him, " Scarlett, that vampire who chased you is coz of him",my dad hissed at me, " Dad, that's enough, if that Riley, that's his name is behind me why could he ran away seeing you and remember what he told he knows you well", I looked at my dad for answers.

" I don't know him Scar, everything is pre planned by him, don't believe him", he shouted at me, " Dad", before I could say anything, Adam stopped me, " Alpha, I know Riley, he is my cousin, after the death of their parents I haven't seen him for decades, it's been in the past, but I don't know why he is here now, I'm trying to find him through all my source, this is the truth, try to understand us, don't make your daughter life living hell", Adam tried to reason my dad.

" Whatever, I'm not going to accept you, and you are not meant to be with my daughter", my dad started again, I looked at Adam hopeless, why should my father be so adamant.
