Thankfully, Steve saw several people approaching the shop at that moment, effectively cutting off Paul’s thoughts about Jace. Steve greeted them when they came in, found out they were looking for costumes for a Twenties party that weekend, and showed them to the right area of the showroom. The morning and early afternoon proved to be busy as they weren’t the only people attending the party. By mid-afternoon, Steve and Paul were finally able to relax.
