"Thanks." Rose replied with a smile, even though her gaze was focused on a certain person. "The weather is nice today, don't you think, Dr. Steve?"
"Why are you here?" Dr. Steve asked, as he silently swallowed anxiously. He'd texted Rock last night and told him that he wanted to see him, but he didn't expect to see his devil wife sitting here instead.
Rose slowly took a sip of her coffee and moaned out in content. She placed the cup on the table before leaning back against her chair. Her eyes seemed to be smiling but the doctor knew better. A word from her mouth was like a straight bullet to his uneasy heart.
