Eight years had quickly passed, and I had devoted myself to music. I bought a guitar and a keyboard. I taught myself how to play it. It took me two months to learn the basics. Another month to play a decent piece, and a year to play like a pro. Most of my time, I spend it playing guitar and singing. I somehow forgot how lonely my life is. I found a haven in music.
I didn't mind if Jon bullied me for a year. He just wanted my allowance because, just like Callie, he was a neglected child. What I felt for him was pity instead of anger and retaliating against him.
