Chapter Three: ObsessionAri doesn't like singing in front of a crowd. Everyone's looking at her so intensely and she never knows where to look, so she stares at Magnus the whole time, finding the familiarity calming.
She doesn't like being stared at, but Magnus like to show her off. He likes to have her in his club with the other shifter so she can 'socialize' a little bit, but the other girls don't like her and she's kind of used to not being liked.
They never liked her while they were growing up and they liked her even less now that she's eighteen and is obviously Magnus's favorite. They think she's pampered and too innocent, which is only half true. She's very spoiled, but not so innocent. Magnus isn't just keeping her in his bed to keep it warm.
