Chapter 11
Over the next two days, Tony worked on what needed to be done on his book before he could send it off to his editor. In the evenings, he met Kirk at the club, where they spent a couple of hours with their friends before everyone headed home. Usually, Greg and Neal were the first to leave, which Tony figured had to do with their exploring their new-found relationship on a much more personal level than they could at the club.
“They’re so cute it’s almost sickening,” Kirk had said, the second evening after the pair left.
“The joys of young love,” Pat had replied with a grin. “When they’ve been together as long as Dan and I…” He kissed Dan at that point, only breaking it off when Tony had tossed off the usual quip—“Get a room”.
“Now that’s an excellent idea,” Dan had said, grinn
