“That was good,” Kirk said when the lights came up.
Tony grinned. “You weren’t expecting it be?”
“Reviewers can sometimes make a movie sound a lot better than it really is. Or worse, too, I guess.”
“They nailed it this time,” Tony replied as they joined the stream of people leaving the theater.
“Do you want to stop for coffee or something?” Kirk asked when they got to the street.
“Sure.” Tony looked around then said, pointing, “Oh my God, there’s a coffee shop that isn’t a Starbucks.”
“It happens,” Kirk replied with a laugh. “Shall we?”
The place was full of after-the-movie patrons, but they managed to find two seats at the counter along one wall, once they had their coffee.
